At the end of March we spent seven days in this beautifully located little hotel - super friendly staff, very good breakfast buffet and absolutely clean room and bathroom. However, our stay was marred by the fact that we had never had such a thinly soundproofed room as in this hotel before. When your neighbor takes a shower, you think the shower is on in your own room, and when your neighbors speak, you can hear practically every word. Thanks to earplugs we were still able to sleep. Unfortunately our backs hurt every morning and the beds are very hard. As we already knew, Wi-Fi is only available near the office and the restaurant, not in the room. There are free parking spaces very close by, and in general there are no parking fees in Paguera until March 31st in the winter season.

Price/quality is more than worth it! Hospitable reception! Super fine/clean. Beautiful garden and swimming pool! Delicious breakfast included! Good WiFi Highly recommended! I would definitely go here with my whole family. The location is also perfect! Near the beach!.

We were already here in the summer of 2022. The idyllic Hostal Villa Columbus with its 30 rooms and its great staff convinced us again this time. Much of our 2022 review can be found here, and we can only confirm everything. The Villa Columbus is located a short way from the beach and the Bulevar, the traffic-calmed main street with restaurants and shops, on a hill. On the way to the beach there is a small, Spanish-run supermarket with everything you need for a beach holiday. The rooms are very good for a 2-star hotel and are equipped with all the important things. We found the beds comfortable. There is also the option of getting toppers for the beds if they are too firm for you. The air conditioning is included, and a safe and refrigerator are available for a fee. The refrigerator is helpful because it not only fits a few drinks, but also one or two things to eat. The room cleaning is particularly noteworthy, it was always very clean! The whole team is fantastic and makes sure that guests feel really comfortable. The special thing about this house is that there is a small team that the guest gets to know within a very short time and that also knows and, above all, recognizes all the guests. So we were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. Room cleaning, restaurant, reception, hotel management all ensure a really successful vacation on a very personal basis. A hotel cannot be run and looked after better. I completely forgot to mention breakfast last time. It is very varied. Scrambled eggs and fried eggs are freshly prepared with other ingredients as desired. There are countless varieties of coffee and many different types of tea. It should be emphasized that we were there late in the fall this time and only left two days before the winter closure. This did not affect the variety of the breakfast buffet at all. In the evening there is the option of eating a la carte. We found the food very good. The menu already offers a lot, plus there are theme evenings that expand the range. For seafood lovers, we recommend taking a look at our review from summer 2022. The pool is beautifully laid out. There is also a table tennis table and a small mini golf course.

If you want, you can order fresh fish or seafood from the owner Julia, which she or her husband will then get fresh from the market and which will then be prepared superbly in the kitchen. If you like fish and seafood, you should definitely do this once (or more often). The pool is beautifully laid out and invites you to cool off. There is also a table tennis table and a small mini golf course.

Second visit to this small charming hotel. The a**osphere is family, the team warm, the setting idyllic. Thanks to Ana and Maria for their smile and their professionalism, Julio for his good advice (Agua mañana), his colleague (whose name I don't know) for his precious help, and Julia and her husband for their kindness. Despite the accident I had two days before our departure, they did everything to facilitate our end of stay... Small family-run hotel in an excellent location. The size of the hotel makes for a very relaxing holiday. The staff are very accommodating and the food is very good. All in all, an excellent stay in a pleasant atmosphere.

Positive Nice, very nicely designed small hotel with beautiful gardens and pool. Very nice staff, good food. Rooms simply but functionally furnished. Reasonable prices. Depending on the room, a bit of climbing of stairs is necessary (slope). Approx. 200 m to the promenade, to the beach. Parking is no problem in front of the hotel (upstairs). Room for improvement All the sun loungers around the pool were always occupied because I always got up late.
