Hotel Cupidor ★★★

"Chinese people should not stay here. The hostess has a very bad attitude and the stay experience is poor. 1. The room is poorly soundproofed. You can hear the TV next door and the noise from the corridor. 2. The sound of water backflow in the toilet affects sleep all night 3. You need to pay to use the room safe, 3 euros a day, speechless 4. The sheets were dirty and the quilt was a tablecloth-like cloth, thin and hard. I didn't sleep comfortably at any night! ! ! This is the most unacceptable! ! 5. The air conditioner blows air intermittently. It is loud for 10 seconds when it blows air. After it stops, the whole room becomes stuffy. 6. The room smells stuffy 7. I wanted my boss to help me book a taxi to the airport, but his attitude was terrible. 8. The shower room is so small that it hits your hands when washing your hair. There is no place to put things. 9. The balcony door lock is also a key lock, which is difficult to lock and very troublesome."

Hostal Residencia Sutimar ★★★

"I really liked the hotel. The hosts were very hospitable! The hotel is not large, but very cozy and clean. Rooms are cleaned every day except Thursday. Breakfasts are small, but everything is tasty and fresh. The sea is a couple of minutes' walk away, and the sea is very impressive. There are many cafes, restaurants, and a small shop in the area. Lidl and Euroski supermarkets are not far from the hotel. On Tuesdays, a mobile market comes along these shops. The market sells meat, sausages, cheeses, olives, olive oils, wine, fruit, sweets, leather goods, and clothing. There is a tour desk. We bought a guided tour of Palma, went to the cathedral and a little bit of the city - we really enjoyed it. The guide in Palma, Alena, made the tour so enjoyable - I recommend her. There is also a bus stop nearby. We went to Palma for a walk ourselves on bus 102. You can go to the ring road (that's the bus station, and buses to other cities go there too). Everything was very clear (I don't speak much English). We loved everything! I wish everyone a wonderful holiday!!!"

"Good location and easy to get to by public transport from Palma airport (direct route A11 takes approximately 45 minutes) and also Palma centre. Hotel is small but quaint and clean. Breakfast has a good variety and very reasonably priced food at the bar and restaurant. There is a nice pool and also the beach is across the road with lots of cruises and water activities / restaurants. The staff above all were very warm and friendly."

"Warm welcome by Eugenio who is the heart and soul of this nice boutique hotel. The room was nice and clean. It's well equiped with sufficent hangers and even a small fridge. Even the balcony has a decent size as well as the bathroom. The sleeping comfort is good. There is even an open-air roof top lounge where youn can bring your own drinks. The breakfast has a large varity and is very tasty. The staff is nice and helpfull. The only disadvantage was that the elevator wasn't working. Still we would come back. Gracias."

Cupido Boutique Hotel ★★★

"Managers scam couples by putting them in single rooms. The room is very very small. The toilet is in the same room as the bed with nothing covering it as well as it directly facing the bed which is ridiculous that there is no privacy on the toilet as can be seen by the almost laughable picture. The bed is a 3/4 bed in the corner of the bedroom room which is unacceptable for two people. The shower leaks a lot of water underneath the glass meaning your room is practically underwater after a quick shower. We arrived at midnight the first night and complained in the morning which resulted in another room being available the morning after complaining. The new room was much more up to standard with the bare minimum necessities such as an actual bathroom but generally quite nice, however the 2 nights in the first room somewhat ruined the experience. They claim the room is an “economy double room” but in reality this is a single room that they put couples and charge over €1200 for the week for. The food is hit and miss but generally okay, we ate out some nights as it occasionally wasn’t great. The rooftop facilities are very nice with the sea views and hot tubs. The hotel is clean and the staff are all very lovely who work there. Bar area is also nice."

Valentin Grand Park Suite Hotel

"We had a wonderful stay at the Valentin Grand Park. We travelled as a family of three (4yo) and there was something for everyone, I wouldn't hesitate to go back. We were travelling outside of UK school holidays so maybe didn't experience the peak times others have, but we found the whole hotel to be relaxed and not over-busy. Several days we felt the pools were nice and quiet, other times were busier but perfectly fine. The only exception was breakfast and dinner at peak times ( half board - 09.30 breakfast, 19.15 ish dinner) but we always found a table and there was so much food to choose from. We really enjoyed the variety and it was genuinely really very good food (a bit too good!). They have a seperate kids buffet section but there was so much choice our picky eater always found plenty (the chocolate fountain was a clear winner!). The beach is a very short walk away and well worth it - it's blue flag, very safe, and has crystal clear shallow water. Although it was busy everyone was very friendly, with a mix of locals and tourists. Lots of shops to buy a much needed parasol and ice cream. The man with the wheelbarrow of fruit was a welcome addition, my son loved looking out for him. We stayed in the apartments just behind the main hotel (booked via easyjet) and although the rooms don't look as nice as the main hotel they were perfectly nice (just a little dated) and well serviced. It felt a lot quieter than the main hotel complex and had it's own pool. The aircon was amazing, and much needed (42⁰ when we were there). I was a bit worried that it was over a road from the hotel, but it was less than 200m and the road was one way with a crossing, so very small. If you're someone who likes a little bit more nature and greenery than parasols, then this is the perfect hotel. The grounds were perfectly well kept and the palm trees were brilliant at providing some shade around the pools. It made the space feel really relaxing. Top tip, the cocktails at the pool bar are well worth it! The splash park was excellent, really good fun for our 4yo but just FYI, it looked like the life guards are there more to keep the rules than to look out for the little ones, and the water is deep enough that you need to keep an eye out for them. The entertainment isn't something we would normally go for but it was easy to take or leave it. We actually really enjoyed a couple of evening shows, and the staff put so much effort into them that they were actually really good. Lots of small kids stayed up late to watch and the staff were very friendly, always interacting with them. There are adults only areas of the hotel though, so that's definitely available for a more relaxed atmosphere (and they split families/adults for meals). All in all, I couldn't fault the hotel or the staff, who were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and we had such a nice memorable holiday."

The rooms are clean and have everything you need. The swimming pools are lovely and clean both indoors and out side. I personally feel very good value."

Aparthotel Novo Mar

"Myself and my partner were away for her birthday, we have never stayed in this location before. On arrival at the Novo Mar the aparthotel looked very clean and classy. The welcome from the reception staff was polite, professional and very informative. We had booked a superior apartment suite with a sea view. Oh my goodness, the apartment was amazing, the view was incredible, overlooking the beach and hillsides. The room was bright and clean. We will definitely be returning to the Novo Mar."

"The location is close to the resort center. The atmosphere is relaxing, the room is acceptable, one minus is that it does not have a mini fridge. The price is in line with the quality of the services. The cleaning is done very well. There is not much noise because not many young people come. The services leave a little to be desired because you feel in Germany not in Spain. I am referring here to the staff who serve at the table and this can be improved in my opinion. For something new it is something to try but only once."

"Older hotel but in great shape. The vintage style makes all the rooms extremely cozy. The room was good and the bathroom especially good. The breakfast buffet was extremely varied and tasty. The staff are the icing on the cake, very friendly, very helpful and always in a good mood! The outdoor area is inviting with lots of greenery."

"We were already here in the summer of 2022. The idyllic Hostal Villa Columbus with its 30 rooms and its great staff convinced us again this time. Much of our 2022 review can be found here, and we can only confirm everything. The Villa Columbus is located a short way from the beach and the Bulevar, the traffic-calmed main street with restaurants and shops, on a hill. On the way to the beach there is a small, Spanish-run supermarket with everything you need for a beach holiday. The rooms are very good for a 2-star hotel and are equipped with all the important things. We found the beds comfortable. There is also the option of getting toppers for the beds if they are too firm for you. The air conditioning is included, and a safe and refrigerator are available for a fee. The refrigerator is helpful because it not only fits a few drinks, but also one or two things to eat. The room cleaning is particularly noteworthy, it was always very clean! The whole team is fantastic and makes sure that guests feel really comfortable. The special thing about this house is that there is a small team that the guest gets to know within a very short time and that also knows and, above all, recognizes all the guests. So we were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. Room cleaning, restaurant, reception, hotel management all ensure a really successful vacation on a very personal basis. A hotel cannot be run and looked after better. I completely forgot to mention breakfast last time. It is very varied. Scrambled eggs and fried eggs are freshly prepared with other ingredients as desired. There are countless varieties of coffee and many different types of tea. It should be emphasized that we were there late in the fall this time and only left two days before the winter closure. This did not affect the variety of the breakfast buffet at all. In the evening there is the option of eating a la carte. We found the food very good. The menu already offers a lot, plus there are theme evenings that expand the range. For seafood lovers, we recommend taking a look at our review from summer 2022. The pool is beautifully laid out. There is also a table tennis table and a small mini golf course."

"Wonderful hotel 👍 There are pros and cons everywhere, but overall it was very cozy, delicious, and pleasant to stay there. The rooms are clean, and everyone is friendly. The animators are amazing — special thanks to Klavdiya and Alejandro! They are genuine, positive, and have an incredible sense of humor. It’s always fun with them, and they really give their 💯%. 🤗 Our 5-year-old son fell in love with Klavdiya 🫣😁🩷. They truly know how to connect with children and give them a real celebration and unforgettable experiences. You can see the passion in their eyes and hearts🩷. Also, a big thank-you to the cosmetologist Beatriz — she has magic hands, truly loves and knows her job; people like her are a real rarity. Everything felt very homey and family-like. Valentin Somni Hotel & Suites

"What can I say… what a delightful stay we had! 👏 The hotel was beautiful, clean, modern and tidy throughout. Our standard double room was on the small side for us, and unfortunately the frosted glass & curtains didn’t give us quite enough privacy. We did manage to upgrade to a Junior Suite, and this was well worth the extra money! The Junior Suite had a lovely large living space, separate bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, plenty of wardrobe space and a huge shower. We absolutely loved it! The restaurant was also a very pleasant experience. The food was very good, with a nice selection to suit most people. There were a few nights where it didn’t quite tickle our fancy, so we decided to eat out, but in general the food was lovely, varied and, like the rest of the hotel, very clean. The restaurant does state that smart clothing, including trousers, is required. However, upon arrival we found this wasn’t really the case. As long as you were smartly dressed, there didn’t seem to be any issues, and shorts never appeared to be a problem. The hotel offered three pools. One of these was on the rooftop, although it wasn’t really the best swimming pool. It was quite small and shallow. Perfect for dipping your toes in on a hot day, though! The other two pools were lovely, more than adequate for having a swim and cooling down. The pool bar offered a great selection of food and drinks at fairly reasonable prices. The food was delicious and, again, everything was clean and well presented. The only downside around the main pool area was the sunbeds. They were quite close together and there wasn’t a huge amount of space around each one. There also weren’t a huge number of sunbeds. We did visit slightly out of season, so I can imagine this could be more of an issue during the busy summer months. The evening entertainment was pretty standard. Quiz nights and bingo were also available before the live entertainment started. The same animation team also offered various activities throughout the day, including pool games and water aerobics, alongside things such as darts, cocktail classes and other activities for those who wanted to get involved. The staff were also incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. One thing to bear in mind if booking as part of a package holiday is the transfer from the airport. Our transfer was around 1 hour 30 minutes, so we would definitely recommend getting a taxi if your budget allows. A direct taxi journey is around 30 minutes from the airport, which would make a big difference after a flight. The hotel is situated on a slight hill, so bear this in mind when walking down towards the main strip. However, the location is great, and the beach is fantastic! 🏖️ We had a fabulous stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. We would 100% return in the future!"
