We had such a great stay in Pensacola and all the better for the unexpectedness of it all. We had originally intended to stop in Destin but didn’t much like the look of it so carried on down the road. Luckily I had a guide book which mentioned this brilliant refurbished 1950s motel right in the centre of the city. The bars and restaurants are all within easy walking distance so very convenient for the travel weary driver, and it meant having a drink without worrying. The rooms aren’t huge but the bed was super comfortable, it’s spotlessly clean and we arrived just in time for beer, wine and snacks in the lobby. Breakfast is pretty much a grab and go but everything was available for you, again in the lobby. Yogurts, energy bars, tea and coffee etc. It’s great value and we can’t recommend it more highly - in fact it’s one of the favourite stops along our long road trip.

This is one of the nicest IHG properties that I have stayed in. Lobby, amenities and room were all very clean and modern. The breakfast was very good and there was fresh grapefruit every morning. The very best part of the stay, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly and helpful. It seemed that they were all part of an engaged team that enjoyed working together. The location of the property is great- walking distance to restaurants, a museum and good bars.

The stay was good. Older hotel but clean and it right next to downtown which was cool. Able to check out The Vynal that was recommended and had a blast. The lady that was cleaning our rooms was really kind. The folks in the office could have acted nicer

It's was ok for the price, new bed but the the tv didn't work and had no remote 🤦‍♂️

Going to the local Naval Museum, so book there, the airport comes out around the uber20 knife. In the renovation, our room was a bit tasteful but acceptable. The room was very large, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was simple but hot and it tasted good. The old lady was very enthusiastic about packing us two cakes for us to eat on the road, the fruits are bananas and apples. satisfaction! There is a commercial center in the surrounding area to go out, but don't expect large shopping centers in small places.
