Chiverton House Guest Accommodation

Excellent, comfortable accommodation, superbly managed by welcoming, considerate hosts. Moved us to a lower floor than planned when learning of a mobility issue. Would highly recommend this property.

Position was perfect, room spottlessy clean and very comfortable. Host very kind and helpful. I would recommend it!!

Alan is a great host - very helpful. Property is clean and well kept. Upgraded linens (and a new bath mat) would be an improvement. Laundromat nearby. Walkable to dining, shopping, sights, bus and train.

Quiet, comfortable BnB. Friendly and accomodating. Great place for a few nights stay.

The room was clean and spacious. Only thing missing was a mini-fridge.

Out host Alan was very helpful with suggestions of things to see and do. We recommend Chiverton House for value for money.

******* had advertised this as a 4-star bed and breakfast so I was very disappointed to find out that breakfast is no longer served at this establishment. The rooms were small, but spotlessly clean. Friendly hosts and a lovely position in Penzance.

We are on our way back from a wonderful 2 night stay in Penzance. Our room was on the top floor and no problem for us to access. Maybe request a room on lower level if you’re not good with steps. Our room was immaculately clean - we could not fault it. The beds were very comfy and plenty of pillows for comfort. The en-suite had a lovely shower that provided shower gel and shampoo. Large towels and hand towels are also provided. Plenty of tea and coffee in room and glasses for water and wine. The tv was a good size too. The owner Alan was lovely and very hospitable. He gave lots of useful information for days out and places where we could eat - he even left an annotated map with places to eat and short cuts to the town. A lovely host, we enjoyed our chats 😊 The location is perfect for a base to explore and has free public parking outside. It was minutes from the promenade and a short walk into Penzance town. We enjoyed eating out in Newlyn which is about a 10 minute walk. Overall a fantastic stay - thank you Alan and Sally. We’ll definitely be recommending you to friends and family.

The room was on the top floor of the building so not great for an older person. The best shower we had in England. Simply appointed but exceptionally clean. Location was close to the boardwalk area and central town. Walking distance to all plus the very worthwhile lands end bus.
