The Queens Hotel
"Great hotel in a good location - bed could be a bit harder and room was a bit hot"
Premier Inn Penzance
"Staff lovely and welcoming, and always helpful. A perfect location for the rail and bus station. Our room even had a sea view. Clean, everything well stocked, very quiet room. What could be better?"
The Longboat Inn
"Lovely staff"
Hotel Penzance Harbour View
"Poorly trained skeleton staffing levels. Outdoor pool does not make it 4 star. Food poor. Drink limited. Nicely decorated room with good views - but worst of the 5 hotels we stayed in. I’d look elsewhere"
Hotel Penzance Promenade
"The breakfast buffet spread was good..however The room window was very small and high..you can’t view outside which makes the room look even smaller.. good for overnight stay"
The Lugger Inn
"Unfortunately became locked in my room due to the lock failing, the owner had to force the door open, happened luckily at evening time otherwise wouldn’t have known until checking out to catch early train"
Mr & MRS Smith Artist Residence Cornwall
"Having stayed at the Penzance Artist Residence most years as a stopping point between the mainland and Scilly it seems to be going down hill. My past two stays have not been to the expected standards to what they were. Last year, I woke to no water in my room. Compensation of a coffee isn't really the way to deal with that problem when a guest isn't able to use the bathroom facilities during a stay. This trip my room had no WiFi, I had to stand in the corridor or public areas to be able to try and use any. The heating wasn't on and window open, in late October not a welcoming introduction to your room. This might just be a girl problem but a waterfall shower as the only option provide shower caps. When not travelling without hair products, so not wanting to wash your hair, this limits your washing options. Staff were fine but not as well rounded as previous."
Higher Faugan Parc
"Extremely peaceful and high quality rooms. We stayed in room 3 and the vista from the window was gorgeous! The night sky was beautiful and was the sun rise out to Newlyn. We enjoyed how quiet the room was and nobody bothered us so it was easy to settle and appreciate the privacy . Having some basic breakfast items in the room suited us ok and we didn’t feel obliged to have to be social in the morning or take up time which we instead chose to spend having a lay in. Doug was very kind to us and seemed hands on and very proud of the standard of his home, he has a lovely pond and guest are able to go and and spend time there. The area is signposted. It is VERY IMPORTANT to read ALL of the website information!!!!!!! The house is a PRIVATE property and the owners are very clear that this is their stance. In this day and age we are so used to being able to roam hotels and guest houses that we can sometimes forget the personal space and personal awareness preferences of others! Curiosity is a natural human trait, especially when we see something as enchanting as this place. There are strict rules that the majority of the inside and outside is out of bounds and that the offering is for a suite only, there are not common lounges to go and read for example. As long as you are happy with this and understand the proposition then you will have a delightful stay and bliss out in the gentle energy of the set back location. If you are feeling energetic and mobile then the walk down to the harbour is invigorating and stunning. Thank you for a lovely stay"
Mount View Hotel B&B
"Great little B&B pub our room not to big but had everything in side very clean breakfast excellent but don’t forget to stay for the evening meal lots of great locals in the pub made us feel very welcome, owner always on hand if needed , definitely would stay again"

Kings Arms
"What a great place to stay. Warm welcome, great rooms and enhanced by listening to the fantastic Mousehole Mens Choir who practice in Paul Church every Monday and then continue in the pub. Slept like babies and then were greeted by the most cheerful and welcoming Mia who brightened our day and served us a wonderful breakfast. Would definitely recommend a visit."
Bay Lodge
"The landlord is very good! Breakfast is delicious, very suitable for three or two people to stay together."
Victoria Inn
"We had a really lovely meal here. Great food (far to good!) nice drink, very friendly staff. Lovely building. Comfy seating There isn’t much parking near the pub, but plenty of parking a bit further down the road at the beach car parks. Highly recommended."
The Ship Inn
"Good service"
The Yacht Inn
"We had a lovely stay. A great welcome and the room (5) had a fantastic view. Everything was clean and the bed very comfortable. We were told about other reasturants in the area even though they served food. Very good selection of drinks at the bar and a good food menu. We ate in and had Bril and Mussels. Really nice as well."
Duporth Guest House
"Stayed one night but would have been comfortable to stay longer. Our room was large with two beds, dining table and kitchenette with a microwave and fridge/ freezer. Ensuite was a good size also and the room was light and airy with an ocean view. Located just one street back from the foreshore. Parking available in the street but had to park a bit further away when returning later that night."
Sennen Cove Cottage
"Lovely little apartment situated in ideal location with stunning views over Sennen. As described, perfect directions and even sent photo of front to make identification easier. Fully equipped with everything and little extras added which made our stay extra special, milk, wine, biscuits, tea, coffee sugar Greatly received especially with late arrival. Instructions on how to work cooker would be ideal but figured it out in end Apartment was clean, fresh and relaxing Would recommend"
