"Booked at the last minute. There was 7 of us, we had 2 bell tents. I have to say they were pretty good. Beds supplied with very comfy bedding which was fresh and spotlessly clean. Easy enough check in In the tent there is a small wood burner and you get a small pack of wood supplied (More kindling would help) But, once that fire had gone out, it was very cold. All in all very good The downside was the breakfast. Breakfast cost £10 each. Personally I found the whole experience a shambles! The guy who was serving was the most miserable person you could meet. He was awkward and quite frankly didn’t want to be there. Coffee ran out, milk ran out, no beans, 1 x egg, anaemic sausages, it was awful!! Had we not encountered him it would have been a 5/5 Replace him and we’ll definitely return!"

"Our second stay at this fabulous place was even better than the first a year ago. Very warm welcome which continued throughout our two night stay. Room three is beautiful and very comfortable. We had dinner one night with family and all enjoyed every mouthful. Breakfasts are on another level. The yoghurt and fruit, full breakfast and avocado on toast were all meals I would readily eat again if that were possible. If we are back in the area again this would our first choice for certain."

"Stayed one night but would have been comfortable to stay longer. Our room was large with two beds, dining table and kitchenette with a microwave and fridge/ freezer. Ensuite was a good size also and the room was light and airy with an ocean view. Located just one street back from the foreshore. Parking available in the street but had to park a bit further away when returning later that night."

"This is a quaint and ideally located guesthouse just across from the train station. Breakfast is superb and our room was immaculate. It is easy to walk from here to anywhere in town including a local favorite fish and chips takeout in a remote part of town (ask the owner). St. Michael’s Mount is a walkable distance, but make sure you time your visit at low tide. Also make sure you try a Cornish pasty at one of its several bakeries."

"What a great place to stay. Warm welcome, great rooms and enhanced by listening to the fantastic Mousehole Mens Choir who practice in Paul Church every Monday and then continue in the pub. Slept like babies and then were greeted by the most cheerful and welcoming Mia who brightened our day and served us a wonderful breakfast. Would definitely recommend a visit."

"We stayed for 2 nights and the staff could not have been more helpful. They did early breakfast as The Scillonian times changed. Also helped us to dry out when we got soaked! Catch of the day was delicious as was the breakfast, and the room was clean and well equipped. Location was great for the Quay. Thanks so much for a lovely stay. Will recommend . 😊"
