DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Waterfront

During this self-driving tour in Western Australia, I stayed in this hotel for 7 days and 6 nights. It was great. We booked a full water view room, which was well-equipped, clean and spacious, equivalent to a small suite, and we could watch the sunrise every day. Less than 100m away from the hotel is Barrack Street Jetty, where there are several permanent local travel agencies that provide various tours (Rottnest Island, whale watching, dolphin chasing, bus tour, etc.). It is much more reliable to consult in person than to book online. There is a 360° sightseeing bar on the top floor (18th floor) with a good view. REEL KITCHEN restaurant on the second floor provides breakfast, lunch and dinner. The buffet breakfast is rich, and the Spanish sausage CHORIZO is delicious, especially for friends who like spicy food. Dinner is not expensive either. The main course for two people plus a bottle of red wine is 235 Australian dollars. I think the price-performance ratio is good. I would like to especially thank MR. DAREK and MISS ARIANE at the front desk. On the day we left on October 6, Perth had a running event, and many areas were closed at different times. Because we were driving by ourselves, we needed to return the car to the airport and were afraid that we would not be able to leave and miss the flight. MR. DAREK and MISS ARIANE (especially MR. DAREK) helped us a lot. They patiently consulted and introduced the rules of road closures during local public events, as well as the recommended driving routes, so that we could leave the hotel and return the car to the airport very smoothly. This hotel is the most comfortable and happy hotel we have stayed in during our 23-day trip to South Australia and Western Australia. Highly recommended!!! Special thanks shall be paid to MR. DAREK and MISS ARIANE at the reception desk. On the day we left on October 6, there was a RUNNING EVENT in Perth, with many areas closed for different time periods. Because we are driving by ourselves, we need to return the car at the airport, and we are afraid that we can't get out and miss flight. MR. DAREK and MISS ARIANE (especially MR. DAREK) gave us a lot of help, and they were very patient to inquire with others and introduce the local road closure rules for public events, as well as suggested driving routes, which made us leave the hotel and return the car at the airport very smoothly.

It's good for the price. There's a park next door, so it's good, good, good. I highly recommend it. It's very clean and tidy. I like the bathroom the most. It's clean.

Recommended by a friend. Note that this hotel has two locations in Perth, be sure to stay at this one, as it has a much better location. Local friends said the other one is more dangerous, but I don't know why.

The location is very convenient. The lake view room was on the lowest floor, the 3rd floor. I had requested a high floor before check-in. The bed in the twin room was very small. Less than 1. The so-called double twin is a double bed split into two single beds.
