I had no expectations of the hotel when I arrived and just assumed as a Titan Group Tour it would be of a very good standard. When arriving at resort after a very disappointing flight (that’s another story !) we had to wait for our rooms to be available. We were a group of 40 seniors and tired and hungry. My husband and I were the last room key to be given and good 1 hour and half after arrival. No drinks or food were offered as we waited! - unless we bought drinks - no food available! Dinner was served - very late - and a very mediocre standard of service and food (in the price of the holiday was given) - drinks were not provided - even water was not free. You cannot drink the water at the hotel !!! Please note ! There were quite a few couples who had to change their rooms and pay a large surcharge for a different room - as they were not suitable ! please read what you can expect before you go ! No lake view - that’s extra ! The pool was cold as this was start of season and if you expect to go walking you will need to be very vigilant if the roads as no paths !!! Very disappointed !! This is a hotel review - not a tour review - our tour manager could not be faulted - she was always on hand to help and the group itself all very friendly. Please do your homework before you go !!!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with our 2 children. We took the room overlooking the lake. The view is very beautiful, the room has a high ceiling with exposed beams, which however creak inexplicably at night. The first day we killed a spider and after the "cleaning" it was still there on the floor. In the bathroom there is a tub with a glass wall to allow for a shower, but the seal cannot hold and the bathroom floods (so much so that the door underneath is completely swollen and ruined). Breakfast can improve: the bread is not always fresh, as well as the fruit (the bananas were not bruised only on the last morning). What greatly surprised us was the absence of a minibar inside the room. We reported the missing item to the reception, who first insisted that in fact it was there, then found that no, it wasn't there and told us that they would take care of it. It's been 2 days and no news. At checkout I pointed out that this had given us some inconvenience, because I had to put the cold cuts for the sandwiches in the fridge but I hadn't been able to. The girl told me that they wanted to tell us to use their fridge, but they forgot. A requirement for a 4 star hotel is the presence of a minibar: the price is 4 star, the service definitely not. We won't be returning

After driving an hour to get here, we were happy with the table overlooking the lake and the menu was really good! The latter was a fixed menu for Easter which although it was fixed, we thought it would be something relatively quick as we would all be eating the same things. With the starters everything was fine, until we had to wait an hour for the first course, also seeing tables that arrived after us having their dishes first. Same for the second. Once we arrived at the dessert at around 3.20pm (having arrived at 12.30pm) we kindly asked if it would be possible to have it together with the coffees to streamline everything and go. Unfortunately only the coffee arrived at the table, so unfortunately we were a little annoyed and asked to take the dessert away. Which was also requested by the owner at the checkout to avoid having to wait any longer. I would like to point out that after explaining what happened to the owner, she apologized and would have been willing to remove something from the bill, but we refused. We were invited to stay for a weekend and when we returned they would treat us with respect. Sorry for the disservice.

Excellent welcome, very professional.
I recommend room 217 (spacious, quiet, superb view, large balcony and well exposed)
Very comfortable king-size bed.
Boat stop for Orta, Omagna...on the property. Coastal path to the village.
The swimming pool and restaurant are open to the public.
Closed private parking.
Wellness, very pleasant park, jacuzzi; swimming in the lake and the swimming pool (in the company of ducks...)
Very complete buffet breakfast included.

We visited the restaurant of the l'approdo hotel for a dinner as a couple - wisely recommended by Mauro, we tasted two dishes based on fish and meat, both of which lived up to expectations. Enchanting location. We will return without a shadow of a doubt even in the summer to try the swimming pool. Thanks for the welcome. Valerio & Cristian
