Coral Beach Hotel & Resort Cyprus

I wish to review the main buffet restaurant. We have been to this hotel four times now and in our opinion this is the best all inclusive restaurant for variation and quality. All the staff are very efficient and friendly. The chefs ensure the food is topped up constantly. We particularly appreciate that the head chef Antonis engages every day with his customers to ensure they are happy with the food and service. He even brought my husband some blue cheese out for his cheese and biscuits as he mentioned he preferred it. Fantastic service. We hope to visit again in the future.

After a night at the worst hotel in Paphos we found the CSG and after an early morning call they sent a taxi to rescue us and we were in the lobby with a cold drink and a warm welcome within an hour. The pool area is lovely and no shortage of beds towels anything you might need . After a restorative cosmopolitan and some sliders everything felt better. Our rooms were very luxurious and had everything you could want. Robes and products all lovely. Feedback from us would be that the blackout curtains don’t quite block out the gorgeous sunrise but that on the room front was all. The gym opens from 8 and 7 would have been ideal as we were up early with the sun but otherwise it was fully stocked and a really great gym . We didn’t make it to the spa as felt very treated as we’re were but it looked great and the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were a real treat everything you could possibly want and the staff were all utterly fantastic . Couldn’t rate having a better breakfast anywhere we have stayed . Restaurants were lovely kohili and bonsai were the best and the manager and staff were busy but very attentive. We would have liked another choice maybe a steak place but that’s just a tiny thing. Where the restaurants are located the kitchens cooking must be satalite as sometimes the wait was long so with kids they got bored but once we got used to ordering there food to come first it was all great. Consistency would be the only feedback we didn’t get water refreshed in rooms everyday so maybe a water fountain would be good as we both drink 4 litres each a day. Sliders were different at the pool and kohili so as you know with kids this can be a challenge but really wasn’t a huge problem once we knew. Sometimes the pool staff served very quick but sometimes same had long waits for the order to be taken but really we could just get up and order at the bar so again not an issue just inconsistent. The cocktail night with managers was a nice touch but we stumbled across is as we didn’t turn on the tv so didn’t get the message but was a lovely touch. We travel a lot high with kids and just us and we would like to come back again as it really had everything we wanted and we look forward to seeing how the resort grows and coming back again. Very honest 5 star review

We stayed in the Coralia Beach apartments from 9th October to 17th October – 8 days with a standard studio and we were told we’d been upgraded to a one bed apartment, we wished we’d said no thanks. Before I moan it could be fantastic as it needs a lot of TLC and money spending on it. The staff in general were great, I don’t envy them working in a hotel that needs a complete overhaul. The pool area and access to the sea are amazing location is the only thing this hotel has going for it. The hotel is very very dated and in dire need of updating. Other guests we spoke too also had similar experiences to share. We booked via Love Holidays and the images on their website and the hotels do not reflect its condition, they are at least 10 years old if not older. There is artistic license but this is beyond. The website it states for each room items such as hairdryer are provided this is not the case my wife waited 3 says for a hair dryer, if we’d have known she could have taken one. Across the whole apartment paint is chipped and flaky and, in some cases, there are holes in the walls. Bathroom Plastic toilet seat kept falling apart on every use and had to be reassembled after each use. Sink taps scaled up and rusty and the basin was cracked. Plastic shelf above the sink was hanging off the wall, not able to use. Bath looks like it’s been painted and it’s flaking away, both bath plug and overflow rusted. Kitchen/Living Room area Both sofas stained and won’t hold weight so not usable. Fridge, freezer box has no door cover and no shelves in the door all 3 have been broken. Air conditioner unit dirty. 1 usable spare plug socket at floor level so not practical. Bedroom Air conditioner control unit has no speed control. Air conditioner unit dirty. Holes in the wall. Hole in the curtain. 1 usable spare plug socket on the desk, none next to the bed. We paid a decent amount of money for this holiday and we certainly didn’t think it good value, would we stay there again - No.

Would give 0 if I could. I stayed here from 20th August 2024 until 17th September 2024 in a studio. Upon arrival I noticed the images on the website are older and the hotel was not in the best condition, however, with the cheap prices this is to be expected. The pool bar was also closed the entire duration of my stay. My air-conditioning did turn on however barely made a difference, not falling below 27°C the entire first week. I did not tell the reception at first as I assumed that, like everything else in this hotel, it was just old and in need of replacement and all rooms would be the same. There were a few minor problems (electric cut out etc.) and one of the men from reception came up to fix the fuse, I mentioned the A.C and he told me this was not normal and would have somebody come to look at it. After a few days nobody had came to check it so I went back down to reception, where I was told someone would be sent in the morning. The next afternoon, someone came to look at it, for about 1 second and said he would send someone else to fix it, then left. A couple of days later I went to stay a couple of nights Limassol (a different city), upon my return the air conditioning was still not working properly. Now 2 weeks after I was first told it would be fixed, I went and asked the manager, she send 2 people straight away and they fixed it within seconds. Considering it was such an easy fix and the maintenance people had been around my entire stay so far, I was wondering why it took 2 weeks and me speaking to 4 different people for someone to actually fix it (3 weeks into my 4 week stay). While on the way from reception to my room with a maintenance lady stopped, pulled a plaster off her foot and threw it on the floor less than a metre away from a bin (photo attached). Firstly, this is disgusting in anyway, however, right in front of a guest just shows the lack of respect for hygiene from staff in this hotel. A week later, this plaster was still there on the floor (also attached). One evening I saw a mouse running round in my room (photo attached), although I’m sure good hygiene would help, I understand they are small and can get in through small spaces. However, I am seriously unhappy with how this situation was dealt with, or should I say not dealt with. I went down to reception and told the man, to which he shrugged his shoulders and said “there’s nothing I can do”. I clearly was unhappy with this response so he elaborated saying “we’re fully booked and I’m the only person working, so I can’t help you, it’s not a lion, you can leave it until tomorrow”. This response is not only rude, but unacceptable and lazy, it is the hotel’s responsibility to sort this out and not expect a guest to cook, eat and sleep in a room with a mouse running around. The mouse could have diseases, excrete and urinate in my room, as well as chew and damage my things. I went back and asked if he could at lease get a broom or something to shoo it out onto the balcony,
