"Very satisfied! They even upgraded our room! Everything was perfect, except for the air conditioning being too warm. The service was excellent – very friendly and attentive.
The hotel's location is super convenient, right next to Huaihai Pedestrian Street. There are several Kawa Coffee shops and Zhanji Taosu within a few steps. It's really easy to get around.
Next door to the hotel is Intime Department Store, which had a promotion: 200 off for every 1000 spent. I couldn't resist and ended up buying L'Occitane, Diptyque perfume, and a bunch of other stuff. Left with a haul!"

"Before coming, I compared almost all the hotels and guesthouses on the mountain, and Beihai stood out as having the best value for money. The room size was quite decent, and the concierge service from Xinyi was excellent – she was very knowledgeable about the surrounding attractions and routes. The location is also good; it's about a 10-minute walk to Monkey Watching the Sea, which is currently the closest viewpoint for sunrise. Bright Summit is a bit further, probably a 45-minute to an hour walk for the average person. The closest to the hotel is the Yungu cable car, about a 20-minute walk, making it very convenient for going up and down the mountain. The hotel restaurant's breakfast spread was very generous, and the à la carte dinner dishes were also delicious, especially the bamboo shoots and the old chicken soup – so fragrant! The hotel staff were all friendly and welcoming. There's also a cat named Yundou, who's plump and adorable and often wanders around the hotel entrance early in the morning. Right outside the hotel, there's also a medical station, a police station, and a coffee shop, which makes the facilities incredibly convenient. While prices on the mountain are high, it's understandable, considering all the food and drinks are carried up by porters. I hope they are compensated fairly for their hard work. Overall, it was a good experience, and the money was well spent."

You can tell they have high standards in many areas, for instance, even the remote controls are disinfected."

**Location:** Very convenient. It's only a 20-minute bullet train ride away, and you can walk to MixC (for all your dining and entertainment needs) in 7-8 minutes. There's also a park nearby for a stroll.
**Facilities & Hygiene:** Generally great. The room was spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows, and the toilet had smart features. Plenty of coffee capsules, mineral water, and tissues. The gym isn't huge but is very popular. The swimming pool is 8x25 meters; during summer, it's busy with kids' classes, but I highly recommend the massage pool and steam room in the changing area.
**Service:** I really commend the service. Mindy was fantastic, promptly connecting with me and offering helpful reminders. I especially loved the beautiful executive lounge environment and the high-quality dishes, which truly elevated the hotel's overall service!

Xiaobaibai✨I chose E-Long Anyue Hotel for our trip to Mount Huangshan with the kids this time. Its location is a huge plus, right next to the scenic area's transfer center. The hotel even offers free shuttle service up the mountain, so we didn't have to rush on the second day of our trip, which made traveling with children much easier.
The front desk staff were warm and attentive, proactively explaining hiking routes and helping us store our luggage. Their efficiency was impressive. The room was quite new, and the smart home devices were convenient to use. Housekeeping was thorough, and the mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – ensuring we got a great night's sleep after hiking. Downstairs, there are plenty of restaurants and a supermarket, making it very convenient to stock up on snacks and supplies for our climb.

Guest UserThis stay truly exceeded my expectations. Xihai Hotel completely changed my preconceived notions about old-fashioned hotels. The staff were warm and courteous, the room was quite new, and the cleanliness was exceptional – even the disposable slippers were thick and comfortable. Each room also came with a small dryer. In the evenings, the hotel offered outdoor performances, and in the mornings, they organized trips to Danxia Peak for the sunrise. The breakfast was also delicious.

Janet, MalaysiaHighly recommend this stay on top of Huangshan! Genuinely a comfortable stay at the Shilin Hotel. Housekeeping Manager Xiao took great care of me and mum from the moment we checked in. She was very attentive and wonderfully polite! She kept us updated at all times regarding the weather, where to watch sunset/sunset, making sure we stay comfortable and safe. Even the service staff at the restaurant where we had dinner were also attentive.
It is those little details that we rarely see in the service industry these days. Great to experience it here in Shilin Hotel.
The reviews that we often read is that the hotel is very basic, so shouldn't expect too much. I must say, the hotel is full service and not basic at all. Don't be fooled by the 'loud' red display board on the entrance and outdated style though.
Both dinner and breakfast were delicious! The hotel is located very close (10mins) to the Qingliang Terrace to watch sunrise.

The hotel environment is very tranquil, with an Anhui-style ancient town aesthetic. There's a vegetable patch and small animals. Room service and butler service are professional and enthusiastic. During our week-long stay, we watched the hotel's iron flower performance twice, and the kids absolutely loved it. The walnut shortbread left during turndown service was delicious, and my parents enjoyed it. The pool is a bit small, but everything else is excellent.

Dundungou❤️ Most of the hotel staff were very enthusiastic, and they even gave my child a small snack bag when we checked in. Someone also helped us with the elevator. Most of the buffet staff were quite warm and attentive. The bartenders in the executive lounge and the staff member who was in charge of tidying up the afternoon tea dessert area were excellent. The swimming pool is superb! On the day we checked in, the pool attendants during the day – a middle-aged male staff member and a young male staff member – were both incredibly thoughtful! We didn't have swim caps, so they brought us spare ones. They even offered to inflate the swimming ring I bought!
⭕ On the average side: The welcome fruit didn't arrive for a long time on the day of check-in. It only came after I prompted them via WeChat two hours after checking in.
❌ On the negative side: The staff member behind the front desk at the entrance of the executive lounge on the day of check-in was not enthusiastic at all. After we finished eating and left, she acted as if she didn't see us as we walked past her, offering no polite farewell. This made us feel very uncomfortable.

[About accommodation]: The room is huge, huge and clean, no less than the Marriott and Sheraton hotel chains. The hotel's pajamas are also very comfortable and the surrounding area is very quiet;
[About takeaway and breakfast] There are barbecues and crayfish around. Breakfast is on the second floor, and I ate two bowls of soup chaos, very delicious! You can also call the room to deliver food. There is also coffee, wine, gym on the first floor; KTV is not open yet

DiefeixinyiwuThe hotel's location is excellent, right by the Taiping cable car, which was very convenient for going up and down the mountain. The service, including the butler service (my butler was Butler Xiao Ren), was also great. The butler would share hotel activities and reminders, and the front desk could store luggage. In the evening, my child didn't want to go to the restaurant, so I ordered two dishes and two rice boxes to go, and the food was surprisingly good. I originally booked this hotel because it had air conditioning, and indeed, it did. The room had a window, but it faced a stone wall covered in moss. I only realized the next day that the room across the hall had a much more open view. I wish I had known and asked for a different room. Other than that, everything else was good.

I checked in with the intention of giving it a try, and the room I booked was a pleasant surprise. The view was stunning from the window, and the environment was quiet and comfortable. It was a truly relaxing stay. The value for money was truly excellent, and the hot springs were fantastic.
