Direkt am Eingang zum Krüger Nationalpark liegt die Sefapane Lodge. Die Zimmer waren freundlich und gut ausgestattet, die Safaris im Krüger Nationalpark waren stark. Der Pool bot die nötige Erfrischung. Massagen waren super das Restaurant ok. Alle Mitarbeiter*innen waren sehr freundlich. Top Empfehlung

Een hele leuke en gezellige lodge. Op een prachtige locatie net buiten het Krugerpark. We konden meteen dezelfde avond nog een safaritocht regelen bij de receptie toen we aankwamen. Er is een goed restaurant aanwezig waar je goed kon lunchen en/of dineren.

Absolute no go and the worst accommodation we have ever had in South Africa. The condition of the huts is like in the state camps 10 years ago - it all works somehow, but is in unkempt and unfortunately also dingy condition (especially cups, bathroom and the floor). We left the dinner, for which we had to wait more than an hour, after a few bites - the kudu "filet" was almost completely raw instead of medium and we didn't want to get sick as a souvenir of this lodge. Huge trucks drive every second through the Copper Road, where the lodge is located, in addition the basses from the bar hammer; when we arrived around 15:30, the first guests camped drunk in the garden with more bags full of beer cans and the other audience is unfortunately also accordingly. The huge trucks drove until very late in the evening and from 5 am - 5-8 per minute, we could count - was a sleepless and hungry night. We had already suspected that the name of the road " Copper Road" could refer to a copper mine (which was confirmed to us later. The staff is unengaged and unfriendly.

Great lodge right on the doorstep of the Kruger National Park. The service was friendly, the food excellent and the activities amazing. My sisters and I went for a bonding trip and it was the perfect location for this. From spa activities to game drives, it was excellent!

The place was nice, quiet and good service. The problem is allowing non visitors to come at the club and security not tight. Anyone was coming in and out of the lodge. We felt unsafe. At night it turned into a club house

We enjoyed our stay at Sefapane. The service was amazing and the greenery within the lodge was so much refreshing. Your showers always have hot water. We are definatley coming back with kids for a holiday.

Die Lodge liegt sehr nahe am Gate zum Krüger Park und erinnert vom Stil her sehr an die Restcamps im Park. Dies trifft leider auch auf die Ausstattung und das Alter der Rondavels und der Lodge zu. Das 4 Star Rating ist nicht nachvollziehbar. Es gibt nicht einmal einen Haarfön. Das Restaurant ist sehr gut und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett. An der Rezeption wird versucht zusätzliche Dienstleistungen (Spa und Ausflüge) zu verkaufen. Würde künftig eine andere Lodge und auch einen anderen Standort wählen. Der Ort Phalaborwa ist auf dem absteigenden Ast und schlecht administriert. Offensichtlich sprudeln die Gewinne aus dem Minengeschäft nicht mehr und der Tourismus wurde verschlafen.
