A Traveller's Palm
"Was very well received by owners. Had a great overnight stay. One suggestion, put more lights in unit or the white bulbs."
Bushveld Terrace Safari Hotel, Lodge & Spa
"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Bushveld Terrace Safari Hotel and cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we started making our booking, the service was exceptional. We arranged a few special extras to celebrate my husband’s and son’s birthdays, and everything was beautifully set up in our room when we arrived. It made the occasion feel incredibly special, and the cake was honestly out of this world! A very special thank you to Simone, who assisted us with our booking and all the birthday arrangements. She even took the time to introduce herself when we arrived and personally made sure that everything was in order. That kind of personal attention really stood out and made us feel so welcome. Dinner was excellent — every dish was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. The chef clearly knows exactly what they are doing! Our room was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The team even assisted us with getting firewood to take with us into Kruger National Park, which was incredibly helpful and just another example of how they went the extra mile for us. We only stayed for one night before continuing into Kruger, but from the friendly service throughout the booking process to the warm welcome and wonderful stay, everything was perfect. Thank you to the entire team for making our short visit so memorable and for helping us celebrate two special birthdays in such a beautiful way. We will most definitely be back!"
La Lechere Guest House
"Guest house and service were great BUT to get there you need to pass pothole after pothole for about 2 km. "
Sunbird Lodge
"Clean , neat, quiet, and Staff very very accommodating and absolutely very very friendly, I felt at home away from home, will refer others and go back there if the opportunity arise again"
Casa Leitao Lodge
"The place is nice, the only issue I had was the aircon not fully functioning, it was cold and we couldn't warm up our room..there was no blankets ready in the room we had to ask at reception..But otherwise I liked the place."
Shabis guest lodge
Sefapane Lodge and Safaris
"An amazing kitchen is what they have, they serve really simple but nice food. Their housekeeping is lacking, making their rooms uncomfortable, especially for long stay. I would recommend this place for an in and out visit to the restaurant and bar."
Mbizi Bush Lodge
"Where to even begin. We had the best few days at Mbizi. Bjorn and family were so welcoming, accommodating and knowledgeable. The accommodation is beautifully finished, the food is honestly amazing, the pool and the view are both great for some downtime. The game drives were great, we saw so many animals including a leopard and the off roading style was so fun. The value for money at this place is honestly exceptional - would 100% recommend to everyone and will definitely be back! Thanks for a great and relaxing stay guys!"
Iso'Bella Vita Guesthouse
"it was a very cool vacation. the manager was always on call and supported us. the hotel is very clean. we liked the breakfasts and the pool."

Muweti Bush Lodge
"Communication with the hosts prior and during our stay was prompt, friendly and professional. Having completed safaris in various countries Muweti Bush Lodge offers an outstanding safe experience in nature. Our hosts and guides, Hardus and Neil, were brilliant over our 5 days with very informative safari drives each day, plus an extra bonus drive when they received news of 2 rhinos at a watering hole several kms away, delicious braai and meals and friendly conversations during mealtimes. We experienced and learned so much about the local flora and fauna during our stay. Muweti Bush Lodge is comfortable and well positioned. We were fortunate to have a tent/cabin where we regularly saw a variety of animals (elephants, giraffe, zebra, lion, hyena and various antelopes) from our bed and balcony throughout our stay. All attached pics (except rhinos) were taken from our room. The wild bushbuck and lamb wandered into our compound and stayed a while. Everything about our 5 days at Muweti was outstanding. Highly recommended to anyone wanting a real African safari experience."
Parsons Hilltop Safari Camp
"We were a family of five (two adults and three teenage boys) staying at the four bedroom Hippo cottage for 5 nights. Photos don't do the cottage justice. Absolutely beautiful location, huge house with deck, loungers and plunge pool overlooking the river. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were prepared by the fabulous Chef Sandile and usually served outside on the deck. Our boys especially loved the South African traditional braai on Saturday night. One highlight was having lunch whilst a herd of elephants came to the river to drink and swim. There was a fully stocked honesty bar with soft and alcoholic drinks. What truly made the holiday memorable though was Steven, our assigned game driver. He went above and beyond to ensure we saw as many animals as possible - elephants up close, tracking rhino, elephant and leopard on foot to watching a pride of lions hunt a zebra to name a few. His love of nature and joy for life was tangible. He made sure every game drive was so much fun and his stories over dinner were those of legends. He was just an absolute delight. Mirjam and the team can also arrange other activities. They set you up on a Hippo Cottage WhatsApp group and you just have to message your request and they will make it happen, nothing is too much trouble. Our boys chose the quad bike safari which they loved. All in all it was magical to be able to just switch off from the outside world, immerse ourselves in nature and spend quality time together as a family. We left with truly unforgettable memories, I can't recommend enough."
