We went to the Philadelphia Marriott Old City. The hotel was renovated and looks really nice. The check-in staff was really friendly and helpful; they seemed to genuinely want us to have a nice stay at their hotel. The room was spacious and we liked that the gym was on the same floor we stayed on (4th floor). The gym was great and I got in a good workout. The equipment was plentiful and there were not a lot of people. The machines gave my body a good and much needed challenge. Parking is not cheap here and probably the highest I have seen. However Marriott does sometimes allow you to book a package where parking is included. We took advantage of that.
