Maryvale
Right near both the 10 and 101. That makes it convenient to the airport. There's ample parking if you don't mind parking on dirt or around the back. Adjacent to a business park. Room was OK. But make sure it's fully operational before you decide to take it. Maintenance seems to be spotty, unavailable at times. Had a small fridge but no microwave. There is a café in the lobby with limited items; mostly breakfast stuff. Lobby can get rowdy if extended families and sports teams are staying here. But it's near shopping and restaurants and not far from Westgate, the football stadium, and the Gila River hockey center. For me, it was useful for Camelback Ranch. Just up the road a piece.

The staff is always very accommodating and the facilities are actually up and running, for the most part. They give you a decent breakfast bag in the morning, the pool is fresh and the atmosphere is rather relaxing.

The gentleman who checked us in was awesome, also the gentleman who took towels to us, as there were none in the pool area. My feedback is this... My children went in the pool, they somehow came out of the pool with cuts on their hands and feet... The pool water had a nasty taste, is what my kids said, I told them close your mouth when going under. I said it's the bleach, to which they responded, but other pools water doesn't taste like this... So either it isn't being cleaned properly or something. I did enjoy My stay, but was disappointed that there wasn't continental breakfast offered for the price we paid. When I asked the gentleman at the front desk, he said he didn't know why it isn't offered, but that it isn't offered in all their locations. I left my dreaming big dreams sign on the inside of my room, thinking someone was going to come and take out the trash, but no one ever came, so I just got a grocery bag and put the trash in there. Otherwise our stay was great, the beds are comfortable, but I'm almost positive our beds were full size and not queen. I would know because I have a queen at home. Are rooms with queen size beds the same price as full sized ones?

I randomly came to Arizona, because I had never been, I did not do too much research or anything but found this amazing hotel and stayed here for 5 nights. Soon as I arrived to my hotel I was greeted by this amazing gentlemen name FRANK MAGUIRE who works for the valet, I arrived in a Lyft and he immediately opened my door and grab my luggages out of the trunk of the lyft’s car before the driver could. He greeted me with an amazing smile , and very good high energy. It was like we met before in another life, we were already joking and laughing with one another just after secs on meeting. I explained to FRANK that I was from SF area and I was by myself here and needed some cool things to do. He immediately got on his phone and made some calls and asked me to get settled and come back down. When I came back down he had my entire 5 days mapped out and planned for me. The whole entire time I was there he checked on me and made sure I was doing okay and was making very good interactions with others during my stay. The best part was he got me into the pool party at the W HOTEL!!! Frank went beyond and above to make sure my time in ARIZONA was memorable and it ABSOLUTELY WAS!!! THANK YOU FRANK!!!

Deer Valley
This is on a long, narrow street several minutes' drive from I-17. If you aren't using GPS, pay close attention... there's only a small street sign on 23rd that's easy to miss. Also, the hotel is next to another Marriott: a Residence Inn. Once you get here, though, you'll find a very clean and modern hotel with efficient check-in and great quiet because it's out in the middle of nowhere.
