The facilities are relatively old and the scenery is okay, but this hotel also charges a resort fee and it feels not worth it

The hotel is very distinctive. It has the kind of slope up and down, and the rooms are very similar to apar**ents, they are all short houses! The view is great! Very suitable for family living!

Wi-fi and TV service was terrible. We kept losing our TV signal and the wi-fi was very spotty. Luckily, there is a TON to do outside, but it would have been nice to unwind and relax on the computer or in front of the TV at the end of a long day full of outdoor activities.

Very well kept property as a whole. Rooms & beds are very comfortable. Loved having a balcony with a door to open for some fresh air. But there are some aspects of the room that I didn’t personally care for & that lacked in functionality. The bathroom is split into 2 areas, which is fine. But the light for the room with the toilet/shower is located awkwardly outside the room, which we found hard to find in the dark. This causes you to wake up your spouse or child. The shower room also does not have an exhaust fan so it turns into a hot, steamy sauna within minutes. Also we found the lighting in the entire room to be very lacking! You literally can’t see much at all & you might as well put your makeup on in the closet with the light off.

The Tapitio is beautiful and unique; have been there several times for family get togethers. All rooms are suites so perfect for families. Setting is beautiful and natural with several pools and waterfalls. Staff is great! Breakfast and pool bar service excellent. The only problem is the dining room at night. Understaffed and not enough family friendly options. Would be great to have a more casual dinner option.

The property overall was nice. The room was a bit dated but I enjoyed it. There were several pool areas that included heated pools and hot tubs. The mountains and trails were amazing. The highlight of my stay was the staff. Everyone was extremely kind and welcoming. My only negative was the wifi. The service was so bad there. I tried connecting to 3 different wifi networks and they were all low quality which is probably why they don’t charge the separate internet fee as listed. The food was good but if you want to eat at the restaurant, make reservations early. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it
