This was a last minute decision to stay overnight at the Camby. We live in the area but were attending a wine dinner and didn’t want to drive home afterwards. Best decision ever! The front desk personnel were very friendly and gave us an unexpected upgrade. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast in Artizen was excellent. We will definitely stay again for a local ‘staycation’.

I thought my experience will be fascinating at this property. However, I was completely disappointed. I walked in, with my boyfriend, and wasn’t greeted by friendly faces at the reception desk, instead 2 snooty front desk personnel. Maybe because I’m Asian and everyone else who’s walking in was of a different race? I certainly hope not!!! I’ve stayed at 4+++ hotels before, and was treated better. I expected the rooms to be at par with the ritz hotel, as this used to be one, located in Camelback Phoenix, AZ. Nope! This hotel is very pretentious! The reservation we had was with a breakfast option. Oh man! The food was horrible! My steel cut oatmeal was watered down and my boyfriend’s omelette only had 2 pcs of meat, and the rest was solely eggs. If you can find a better hotel in this area, go there instead and skip this one. Not worth $350.00/night IMO. Lastly - who wants to stare at a plastic skull of a cow next to your tv??? Take done! It’s not aesthetically pleasing!

We loved the welcoming, artsy touches around the building. It's comfortable, luxurious, great view from our room, comfortable bed, loved it!

Friendly front desk staff, housekeeping filled my request for an extra blanket quickly and with kindness. The concierge staff were also pleasant. Clean and stylish room with a comfortable bed and pillows. I was in town with my oldest daughter to visit GCU which is an easy 15-18 minute drive from the he hotel. Easy to get to the airport.

Spacious room, comfortable beds, great views from our room, food was fantastic at Artisan, and easy/quick valet. The location was convenient to shopping and meals, in addition to a quick ride from airport. Highly recommend, will stay again.

This is our second time staying at The Camby. We chose it because we drove 5 hours to purchase a new truck n Phoenix and needed to know that it would be parked in a safe location )because it was too tall to park in the underground garage) while we stayed the night. The valet service had it parked right in front of the main entrance and kept an eye out for it all night.

We stayed at The Camby for 4 nights over New Year's - it was the venue for the Phoenix Tango Marathon. What a magnificent hotel! We loved everything from the moment we entered (even before! the entrance and the gracious doormen) - the lobby and front desk receptionists, the restaurant and bar, our room, and the friendly, helpful service throughout. Every detail attended it- a visual delight throughout. Within walking distance of great restaurants, shopping, etc. So happy to have celebrated the New Year in such a lovely hotel.
