The Phoenician, a Luxury Collection Resort, Scottsdale

Incredible customer service. Five star all the way. Rooms super comfortable and very quiet. Best sleep I have had at a hotel in years. Awesome lobby bar with fun vibes and great food and cocktails. Great coffee shop for morning coffee run that also had great on the go breakfast menu. This hotel seriously had almost everything perfect. The only negative is the pools. They were very dirty, very dated and just kind of meh and ugly. As our group was here to spend two days at the pools, this was a bummer part of an otherwise awesome hotel. If your main priority is the pool, I would go somewhere else.

I recently had another disappointing experience with the Phoenician Hotel Resort. On my second attempt to stay at the hotel, I was once again let down and had to cancel my reservations while standing at their counter due to the hotel's inability to provide me with the rooms I had reserved. -Despite a low 45% occupancy rate in mid-June, I was told that my "connected" rooms were unavailable, which seemed like a poor excuse from the management. Frustrated with the their poor customer service, I Celtic best to move to the neighboring Sanctuary Resort, where I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service and a much nicer room that truly reflected a five-star standard. It's apparent that the Phoenician Hotel Resort lacks proper management and falls short in delivering on their promises to guests. While I appreciated the Sanctuary Resort's ability to accommodate me in a time of need, I would caution others about the Phoenician Hotel Resort's lack of accountability and extremely lazy approach to customer satisfaction.

Phenomenal Phoenician! I had Dreamed of staying here and yes, my Dream came True! Douglas, the Front Desk Manager was instrumental in making this Dream of mine so extraordinary! He went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was phenomenal! I highly recommend The Phoenician! The setting is Awe Inspiring! The Pools are lovely. Kevin will take good care of poolgoers! The Breakfast Buffet was Delicious with many yummy choices and excellent service by Felix and Raphael! The Dining is superb. Be sure to go to J&G Steakhouse. The manager, Kyle will make sure that your Dining experience is Magical!

Wow this place is stunning and we can’t wait to return. Stayed mid-week and the place felt empty but even if it were quite busier, I think we would have enjoyed just as much. Highly recommend the spa, the facility is just so relaxing including the sauna, hot tub, rooftop pool, and quiet relaxation room. We stayed in a Casita which allowed quick access to the pools from our walk-out fireplace balcony. Breakfast at Mowry and Cotton and lunch by the pool (Kalio Kabobery) were just so good, we didn’t want to leave. Read all the negative reviews with a grain of salt, this place will WOW you. Thank you so much to the staff who made our trip so special.

This was my second time staying here and it was a 20/10. The service was absolutely top notch and the food was some of the best I’ve had. Every cocktail was perfection. My husband has celiac and they were extremely accommodating. I cannot say enough about this resort and I’m a pretty picky guest. I would come here a million times! We had the most amazing time. 5 star experience.

My wife and stayed three nights and found the resort nice but a little tired. We had dinner at Mowry and Cotton one night were sitting on the patio when we started noticing roaches running around. We moved tables two times and finally moved inside. At this point the mood was quite different but we made the best of it. The employees didn’t seem too concerned about our experience and I even spoke with the F&B manager the next morning. He assured me that he would this was not normal and would have the area cleaned. We also had a situation at the pool the day before and spoke to the deck manager. Neither incident was followed up on and customer dissatisfaction seems to fall into a black hole. We will not be returning, there are better resorts in the area.

Love the grounds, fitness centre and pool. 2nd trip here and was disappointed with no room service for one day and service in the bar and restaurants was sooo slow. 15 mins to get the bill? 15 mins for a coffee? Coffee shop and valet service were excellent. Location is gorgeous. Hotel needs a staff sweep as do the rooms if it’s going to remain a 5 star resort.

What a gorgeous hotel. The grounds are stunning, with colorful flowers and blooms everywhere we turned. The pools and villas were incredible with the most beautiful backdrop. Rooms were spacious and extremely cozy with immaculate attention to detail. Hotel restaurants and room service was delightful and delicious! We especially loved our morning breakfasts on the balcony. Customer service was top-notch; Whether it was Rich taking care of us at the pool, the friendly room service staff, the concierge or valet attendants…everyone was incredible!
