Unfortunately, we will not be back to this hotel. This is our second visit - we visited a few years ago. The property/rooms are rundown and have not been well-maintained. But there are other issues: We got in at around 8pm on a Friday and could not find a valet or bell person to help us with our car and bags. Asked at the front desk and at the restaurant and the employees said we just had to wait. Zero sense of urgency or care. Overall, the employees do not appear happy to work here and most of them had any attitude. We wake up early. Went down to lobby to get a coffee. No coffee until 6:30am. Woman said to make coffee in room or go off property. Decided to find a Starbucks - but again no one at valet. The next day we went to the restaurant in the lobby for breakfast- we waited 45 minutes for our food, had cold eggs, and it was not cheap. Server had zero sense of urgency. Spent the day at the water park. It’s nice that it has a lazy river and wave pool. The kids had fun. But many locals buy ‘day passes’ and it was extremely crowded. We saved 4 chairs- came back and people had moved our stuff and put everything on one chair. We called for housekeeping at 10:30am before leaving to pool. Came back at 4.30pm, room had not been cleaned and we had no towels for shower, etc. If it was one or two things - ok, no big deal. But this weekend has been issue after issue, which sadly doesn’t make for a great trip. Next time we come to Phoenix, we will stay elsewhere.
