The staff was helpful. The hotel is dated, and the gym is very limited and the upstairs bar adds gratuity to your tab without warning. I still wasn't refunded my deposit.

I'm so happy we found this HGI. Sabrina at the front desk was AMAZING! She started our stay off right with a smile, great knowledge of area restaurants and lots of great recommendations. The hotel was really clean and is in a great location! We were able to hop the tram and go exploring. There are so many things within walking distance and those that aren't are a quick, inexpensive ride via ride-share. The rooftop bar is a MUST! We will be back!

I have nothing but positive things about our stay. I have admired the restored historic building for years. They did a wonderful job in saving it. The lobby (beautiful) and throughout they saved as many of the art deco features as possible. Our room was upgraded and we had a corner suite that was huge and had amazing views. The bathroom was massive. The location was so convenient to all downtown activities and restaurants. The rooftop bar is nice with great views. I hoped to enjoy the view in the morning, but it’s only open during business hours. We enjoyed sitting in the lobby and the smaller sitting rooms off to the side. Wonderful stay!

Great location and walkable to events and many great restaurants. The food was good and staff very friendly. We have two complaints: the bed was too hard and the rooms very hot at night. The windows were wired shut so you couldn’t open for air.
