Clean, fresh, nicely appointed hotel. Wonderful check in experience. I think her name was Grace. Excellent customer service. Other interactions with others not as friendly but not rude. Weird fireplace and couches outside of the side of the hotel. Parking is sort of a pain. Maybe there are more hotel entrances that I didn’t see. The rooms Are large with an excellent modern kitchen. First stay in this brand as a Diamond member. We had rooms 419 & 417 nothing to really see out of either side of the hotel (odds or evens). Towels smelled weird like food. Comfy bed, large desk, couch. Shower was nice. They have gel and shampoo on the shower walls as pumps. Provided conditioner in small bottle. I would have liked a shower cap but they did provide make up remover. Breakfast had ZERO proteins available which is a miss. I was hungry all morning due to lake of protein. They have both disposable and traditional plates, cups utensils at breakfast. They have self laundry in the gym. Weird but great to have. Gym is small but is doable. Overall a good experience and I’d definitely stay here again.

Have stayed at this hotel a few times, and prefer it. You will probably be impressed with the size of the rooms. It has a full kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, stove. Then the room is a living room and separate bedroom. I also like the breakfast in the morning. It has make your own waffles along with eggs, meats, yogurt, etc. Definitely not a standard continental. The service has always been great during each stay. The largest downside is probably that the lunch and dinner options are limited in the area. There are a handful of fast food places directly next to it, including some sit down quick places, but other than that in the two block radius there's not much. The immediate area is a business park with a lot of company offices. The perks for me outweigh the cons, so if you are in the area, don't hesitate to book this place. I will stay there again and again.

In view of the epidemic situation, breakfast was not provided, the hotel is a bit remote, the facilities are a bit outdated, the room is quite large, there is no microwave in the room, and it must be used in the public area of the lobby.

The staff is always very accommodating and the facilities are actually up and running, for the most part. They give you a decent breakfast bag in the morning, the pool is fresh and the atmosphere is rather relaxing.

I thought I would give La Quinta a try again. I had stopped staying at LQ after they started charging so much MORE for about the same amenities as before. The pros: * Air conditioning was amazing, which is important in Arizona in summer! * Desk clerk was pleasant and prioritized me as a customer, despite being on the line with tech support. Fulfilled my request to be on the side not facing the freeway. There was no freeway traffic noise on that side. * Mini-fridge was cold & had a freezer compartment for my ice blocks. * Two elevators one on each side of the wing * Lobby area and breakfast area was welcoming, clean, and nicely decorated. * Bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. Linens were clean and unstained. * Bathroom was sparkling clean, EXCEPT for shower tray. See below. The Cons: * Checkin was interesting. If I hadn't had a reservation, I couldn't have checked in. Their computer network and wifi was down and stayed down for quite awhile. Also affected Smart TV's. * No expanded or premium channels including news channels or even the weather channel on TV. Must use your own accounts to watch most anything ( eg. Netflix). * Executive suite shower did not drain well and left me standing in water while showering. Shower tray was not clean when I arrived... probably because shower won't drain. ewww. * ”Hot” breakfast is just waffles or toast. No meat or eggs. Lots AND LOTS of carbs and no protein. No fresh fruit. * Walls are quite thin, and you can hear your neighbors talking and their cell phone ring or dog barking and everything else. Same goes for hearing everything in the hallway. * Complimentary toiletries had not been restocked. * Swimming pool was closed in August?! * Traveler Beware! This LQ does not allow late checkout, even for Wyndham members. You MUST book a second night! Was told by desk clerk that all possessions left in room at noon will be removed and confiscated. WHAT?! There are other nearby hotels in this class that would be a better option. I would recommend this LQ, if you are a budget traveler and you can get a great price. Or if you are traveling with a pet, this might be a good option. Business Wyndham members paying full price might want to look elsewhere. As for me, IF I am traveling with my pet AND can get an AWESOME deal, I might stay here again. Otherwise, I would not.
