Het is een unieke locatie. Wel in the middle of nowhere. En verder niks in de omgeving. De grab komt er niet. Dit hotel serveert geen vlees en alcohol (alleen lokaal bier) als je de kamer neemt aan het strand is het wel ongekende luxe. Ontbijt is prima. Restaurant vonden wij niet heel bijzonder. Personeel vonden wij erg stug en zeker niet de vietnamese lach die we gewend zijn.

We stayed several Nights as a Family of five (3 Kids younger than 7). We booked a cottage with Garden view, which has nothing to do with „a view“ at all, you simply Stare on the backside of the beachfront bungalows. Luckily, we We’re able to move into a beachfront hut, they Managed to fit us all in, which was very nice for a Minor surcharge. The rooms aren‘t huge, but you‘re Not here to stay inside anyways. Hotel PROs -the Hotel: -you are off the beaten Track! No crowds, Only small Resort on an almost empty Part of this overcrowded Island -very close to vinworld (you should NOT spend any Money on this scam!) -they organise Shuttles and Taxi rides for you (Waaaaay too expensive, get yourself grab Drivers WhatsApp contact on your First day!) -they try to keep the „Beach“ clean -breakfast is ok (Choose from Pho (Only vegan Option or dry chicken), Cornflakes, Pancakes or eggs) -billiard table and very nicely made reception hall. -there is a Restaurant on the Right side of the Beach, which is Pretty decent foodwise. That restaurant belongs to another resort !!! Go there for good food ! -we did have warm water for taking a shower -the last 200m of the road is a dirt track, but hey, it’s not our car. Location CONs: -the food. Since you almost have no Choice but eating in, you might be frustrated with the small Menu. You will experience up and downs qualitywise. The chicken is of tough consistency, Only two Meat options anyway (banh mi and pho). We didn‘t try the seafood, Summer rolls and french Fries (Only Option for Western kids in their „everything we don’t know is disgusting“-period) were Great! -Only one waitress from Morning Till Dawn (Poor Girl, Must be exhausted!), she made a mistake the First night taking our order, well the kids just don‘t eat tentacles. After that, she treated us not welcoming and not nicely anymore. Not one Single smile and an unfriendly athmosphere for days left us no Choice but eating out. -there is NO actual Beach! Everything erroded away years ago, that‘s why they Build this huge concrete manifest in Front of the Beach Bungalows. If you‘re into concrete, it might be cool ;) -6 sunbeds for the whole resort, but nevermind, you won‘t use them anyways, Since the covers are hard as the concrete itself. -and swimming in this Bay isn‘t possible either. The Beach is covered in trash and dead Fish. They try to keep it clean several times a day, but stop Directly on the Edge of the property (50 m), on the left and the right everything is covered in litter again. You won‘t swim in this broth anyways, Trust me. -the fishing men neighbors burn trash everyday, smell is horrible. -Daily in the Nighttime we had refreshing rain - also in our room! It was Dripping from the ceiling every Night onto our stuff (no closet!) AND our beds. Great nightsleep guaranteed! The management didn‘t offer any kind of restitution moneywise or Even beerwise. -no fridge in the room, since you‘re far off, you might bring something from the supermarket

We came with a large group of friends. We all loved it so much. Beautiful cottages bring us closer to the nature, especially the bathroom. Excellent home cook food. Friendly and professional staff. Tuyen is my favorite. She helped us with everything we need from booking cars to ordering food and etc. The beach right in front of the rooms is amazing with clear water and low tide. We had the best and wonderful view of the water, the sun and moon every day and night compare with all the hotels I'd ever stayed before. The place is very peaceful and cute. It's great for everyone. The city is close by so you can come out to the attractions during the day time and come back to the serenity at night. Or if you'd like to have a retreat, this is the perfect place for you. We'll definitely come back here every time we come to Phu Quoc. Fell in love with the place. Highly recommended to everyone!

This place is absolutely lovely! Neat and well kept with nice cottages set directly on the nice and tidy little beach. Ours was just a few footsteps from dipping in to the sea. On our stay the water was calm and fairly clear. The location is on its own, so we stayed put for two days, having all our meals there, just relaxing in the calm and quiet environment, no mega-resort in sight. Staff was nice and attentive. Kayaks are for borrowing and motorbikes for rent, if you feel like looking around.

A beautiful quiet place to relax and enjoy, especially after the hustle and bustle of Saigon.

We will be staying at the beginning of June. I'm cursed by the rain. I can stay there cheaply in the off-season and for long stays, but there's only a small general store and a local-style restaurant within walking distance of other hotels, so there's nothing to do when it rains. Even if it's sunny, there's only the ocean. In front of the road is a red dirt dirt road that is muddy from the rain. After walking for about 5 minutes, it turns into a paved road and continues to paved roads to a wide road such as Grand World, but even though it is a paved road, it is out of the question at night and I don't think it would be a good idea to walk for more than 30 minutes even during the day. Neither taxis nor club cars will come in front of the inn, so you'll have to ask someone to call a taxi for you. On the way back, you can easily catch a Grab car from Grand World's main street. If I were to go somewhere, it would be in a grab car. It will cost around 800 yen round trip since it will take you to Grand World. At the nearby general store, you can only expect drinks and a few snacks, so if you want something and want to buy it yourself, this money will definitely be added. If you don't go to Grand World to eat, you'll have no choice but to eat at the inn. It's mainly Vietnamese food, and that's pretty much it. I think the taste and quantity are good, but there are no other options unless you go to town. The price for one meal is approximately 120,000 VND to 180,000 VND, which is not expensive compared to where I live and I knew this beforehand so I factored in the price, but it is more expensive than a typical restaurant in Vietnam. Choosing a hotel in Phu Quoc. I think it depends on who you come with, for what purpose, and when. I want to experience the atmosphere of a Vietnamese city. If you want a lively beach, the area around Duong Dong would be a good choice. I don't think Phu Quoc is a lively beach. If you want to stay at a large, reasonably priced hotel and relax inside, the Crowne Plaza where I stayed is the best, and although I haven't stayed there, there seem to be several other hotels with good reputations that cost around 10,000 yen per room. I'm sure it's good. As a man traveling alone, there are some hotels that I admire even though I don't go that far. If you want to travel on a budget, there are cheap hotels around Duong Dong that are not found on reservation sites, and you can also choose cheap meals. The sea may be harsh during the rainy season, but being holed up in the jungle can be quite relaxing. I think there would have been better facilities inside or closer to the city. However, I would still give this hotel a 5, which is close to a 4, or a 4, which is close to a 5. If the weather had been nice, my impression would have been completely different, but it all depends on who you go with, when and for what purpose. This is not something the inn can control. Other people have written about the good parts, so I'll just write about them briefly. The rooms are kept clean. The bed is also comfortable. They come to clean every day. There is also air conditioning. They also have a decent amount of amenities. The toilet and shower are partly open at the top, so it's a bit of a problem when it rains. My room doesn't have a bathtub. There's a 70% chance of getting a hot shower 🥲 It's a small, family-run business and it's eco-friendly, so keeping that in mind, it's a truly sustainable trip. Breakfast is a la carte and you can choose from about 6 types. I choose them clockwise because I feel like I can try them all during my stay. I agree with some people who say that the location is great because it's on the beach. It's up to each person to decide how close they should be. By the way, there is a free shuttle from Grand World to the airport via Duong Dong. It appears every 20 minutes from morning until night. Please check the website for timetables etc. Therefore, it is convenient to go out to Grand World.

We really enjoyed our time here, using the kayaks and relaxing on the beach.. We had our own motor bike so explored the north while we where there. The manager was amazing I really wish I could remember her name, she makes the experience so much better, very helpful and nice.
