Hotels near Mysterious Viking Village in Phu Quoc Island

The hotel is located in the downtown area right next to the beach, so the location is excellent. The check-in starts at 3 PM, just like another hotel; however, there is no warm service, and the room booked from trip.com has been arranged on the lower floor. The results were noisy on the lower floor because we reserved an ocean view, and the hotel swimming pool is just below the balcony. So we asked to change the room to a higher floor after several negotiations with the receptionist and added additional costs. There are no highlights about the hotel facility and average five-star rating. We swim more by the swimming pool than at the beach because the seawater quality is not that good. For the morning breakfast, there are many options, but nothing outstanding. Overall, it's a good hotel.

the massage environment was great, the actual massage fell short. The breakfast buffet was a standout, offering a variety of tasty options. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, my experience was dampened by a broken toilet flush that remained unfixed despite reminders. Overall, a mix of highs and lows during my stay.

Pros: - good location, walking distance to Grand World - low price, best if you don’t spend much time at the hotel and mostly out and about - clean and modern decor Cons: - no aircon in corridor and elevator, it can be very uncomfortable to step in the elevator on hot days - no room service, no service at pool area, no option to pay for food and beverage at check out. - minibar is empty, instant coffee and tea bags are available yet no milk. When we requested milk for our cup of tea, the reception staff advised we would need to go to the bar (ground floor) to purchase milk at own cost. Milk is essential and it has always been provided free of charge wherever we’ve been (Bali, Singapore, Australia, etc.) - mid-stay ROOM INSPECTION. This is very UNPLEASANT practice to Westerners and should be stopped. Not sure if this is normal in Vietnam, but it is very displeasing and annoying to us (Australians). We often stayed a few weeks to months in Bali and other Asian countries, we’ve never had room inspection where 2 staff entered our room, 1 of them walked around the room pretending to check the skirting board with a screwdriver while the other was casing the room (it was obvious that they wanted to check to room). - poor English proficiency. Only one reception staff can speak English well, the rest of the staff don’t. My husband was quite frustrated during our stay because he couldn’t communicate with staff. We’ve stayed in Bali and other Asian countries, all of their staff are fluent in English including security and housekeeping staff. - lack of attention to food safety. Signage is very small. No cover when the meals bought outside to the pool area. Food was not kept at optimum temperature can cause bacteria to grow to dangerous levels that can cause illness. - lack of knowledge about beverage. Staff didn’t understand my husband’s order of Bourbon + Cola (very common drinks to Westerners) and advised they don’t have Bourbon. When my husband went to the bar with the staff, there was a big Bourbon bottle sitting on the shelf! - lack of customer service. Staff was not attentive to customers, my husband had to walked to the restaurant to get staff attention when we wanted food and drinks while we were at the pool. Staff should walk around and simply check in with customers. Staff didn’t greet customers when they walk past, again when we were in Bali and other Asian countries, their staff (everyone including housekeeping staff) always said good morning, good afternoon or good evening. - FACIAL BIOMETRICS RECOGNITION was an entry requirement to enter buffet breakfast. This should be disclosed in booking description including third-party websites like Agoda, Booking.com, etc. No information on Facial Biometrics Recognition are found anywhere or has ever been communicated to us prior to checking in. Very good experience, worth for money. We booked a bungalow next to the ocean side swimming pool with good view and it was really suitable for family with kid. 3 minutes walk to either swimming pool or beach and also ocean bar. There is also shuttle driving you from the lobby to the room, no need to worry about carrying heavy luggage. Breakfast time is just full of people, personally suggest to have breakfast after 9:30. The best thing of breakfast is they have different pho everyday so you can try more. Been to all catering, food and drinks were good and not expensive. Also enjoyed spa at the hotel, the staff are nice. Highly recommend!!!!!

Great service and fantastic swimming pool. Breakfast is very wonderful For transportation, there is a VINbus bus stop stop so located right in front of the hotel.

We spent a very nice few days in this hotel. The all staff is very polite and friendly specially Ho minh an , on the recepcion. He was always very kind and helpful. The room is very beautiful and always clean. The breakfast was very nice and the food is always fresh. The all staff do the best all the time to keep the area clean and organized. Thank you!

I booked honeymoon room setup with a reasonable price and they totally surprised us when check-in. The setup was so lovely and we love it. The hotel looks a little bit old but so beautiful and well kept. Our Villa was nice, big, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. All of these things made my trip fantastic. I love to stay at the pool all the day for relaxing and enjoying the nice sunset here. The staff were also wonderful, friendly and useful. Highly recommend this hotel and i surely will come back soon.

I booked a room next to the swimming pool. The room was large, the air-conditioning was sufficient, the swimming pool was beautiful, and the breakfast was good. However, the check-in staff couldn't find my booking information, including my passport and name. Finally, I went to trip.com. I just found the order number. The staff was a little stupid, which gave me a false alarm. In addition, there are restaurants and massage parlors nearby, which is very convenient. It is very close to the airport, only ten minutes' drive away. The pick-up time is a little earlier, 6pm at the latest. I will arrive at the airport at 7pm and have to call a taxi by myself.

Excellent service, convenient location, and extremely helpful staff. I'm in utter love with this place. The décor of the brand-new room was sophisticated and elegant. The hotel employees provided excellent service, which made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Leila, in particular, was kind and thoughtful in setting everything up for us, and she always comes with a big, genuine smile, which makes us even happier. She went above and above to make my stay as enjoyable as possible by planning my routes to visit various locations on my own, explaining in detail how to get there, and reserving my ticket to the airport. We want to express our gratitude for making our experience spectacular and incredibly memorable. Overall experience can be expressed in 3 syllables Fa Bu Lous, can’t wait to go back.
