what a wonderful resort! the whole area is beautiful, facilities are well-managed and guest reception & service are fantastic! (special thanks to my manager Sunny and DAI NGUYEN). Trotting the world or hopping from the mainland. Revving up or winding down. Solo, as a couple, or with friends and family. This 5-Star Resort in Phu Quoc offers the ultimate beachfront luxury.
The places that global nomads visit should be equally unique and open-minded as they are. That’s why they’re drawn to Pullman Phu Quoc Beach Resort. This flagship resort by Pullman, located on the island’s southwest coast just 12 minutes from the airport, is tailor-made for those searching for serious play and a playful place to work.
Opened in 2020, this vibrant eco-resort was designed for cosmopolitan travelers from the ground up. Spanish architect and urban planner Salvador Pérez Arroyo gave the hotel complex fluid lines and a kinetic whirl. From the air, the resort resembles a fish swimming toward the Gulf of Thailand: the side wings are the fins, the pool is its body, and the main building is a fan tail.
This is no concrete jungle, but a luxurious beach resort. Greenery or golden sand makes up 80% of the seven-hectare resort. At the western edge is a 150m stretch of Long Beach (Bai Truong), for hotel guests and the occasional local fisherman. And beyond that, the endless sea and sky.
Inside the lobby, one space flows seamlessly into the next. Dark wood and curious artwork draw the eye to the impressive winding staircase and, then, an overhead passageway. The towering Lighthouse Bar shines as both a beacon and centerpiece. This is The Junction, a vibrant hub for co-working and co-playing, a welcoming space for savoring your welcome drink and other refreshments.
Because Pullman understands the pleasures of globetrotters, we have created 331 sophisticated rooms, suites, cabanas, and a decadent pool villa. Each space features the latest in connectivity and technology and a personal terrace or balcony for uplifting downtimes. Dining options range from Phu Quoc’s finest steakhouse and a pop-up seafood restaurant to food carts that roam the resort.
At this Pullman Beach Resort in Phu Quoc, kids have several places to call their own. Not to mention, teenagers can chill out and make friends during activities designed just for them – no parents allowed. Adults get to plan their agenda. Do everything under the sun or do nothing at all.
Along the southwestern coastline of Phu Quoc Island, Pullman has created a sophisticated playground for a new generation of global travelers. Your next adventure awaits.

All around experience was great. Just a few minor items that surprised me a little. The staff had great attitudes but lacked some experience when handling situations. Offering a shuttle bus at 18:00 to help get to an ATM at 11:00 in the morning was bizarre to me. The Cabana room was great, except for some minor things that I wouldn't consider to be a 5-star resort. The cover for the comforter had a massive hole for putting on and taking off right in the middle. No zipper or any closing at the end so it was a little uncomfortable while sleeping. Mad Cow restaurant was also just ok for the level of restaurant it is claimed to be. The night market is very close and they provide free shuttles to and from the airport and nearby night market. Still, a great experience at this hotel.

Overall this was a good stay, but I'm going to likely try someplace else when returning to Phu Quoc, mostly to find a better match for the vibe I like out of a beach resort. Staff was pleasant, but not overly memorable. The resort is a lot bigger than I thought and most of the clientele that I saw were couples and families. I had a beachfront bungalow that was very nicely furnished with a king sized four poster bed, a huge bathroom and an outdoor balcony overlooking the beach. You can hear the waves at night once the very loud EDM/hip hop coming from two directions cuts out around 3 am. I took a 'can't beat em, join em' mentality one night and strolled over to the loud beach bar next door at night to realize that all the loud music was playing for exactly six people who were all yelling to hear one another over the music and not even on the dancefloor. Breakfast in the mornings was good, there's a friendly little mouse that comes by to lap up the crumbs as you eat if you dine alfresco. If you're turned off by rodents, Phu Quoc might but be the best place for you fyi. The bar at the hotel was very small with about 10 stools, but the guys that worked there were nice and the vibe was pretty chill.

We are here now and I have read some of the poor reviews. I don't understand them. Rooms are great, pool is clean, tiled and grouped. Staff are so helpfull and friendly. Rooms are cleaned every day, bathrooms clean and showers are top notch compared to some we have stayed in to get here. Absolute value for money with picturesque views and all amenities you could need. The walk to the main street is a bit of a walk but not a hike. Take my word for it and don't take any notice of the bad reviews. THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC VALUE FOR MONEY. Only comment is breakfast could be a bit better, but not worth not booking because of it.

We booked for 6 weeks; the Lahana thought we'd got our booking incorrect! However, we were shown to our bungalow on top of hill overlooking beautiful landscaped gardens. Our room was large and spacious, good size bathroom with bath tub and outside shower. As we spend 3 months in the Far East we tend not travel light. The wardrobe was not large enough for all our cloths, but, we used wicker baskets for extra storage.[might be worth management take on board?] Breakfast was a delight of the day. Various fruits, eggs, meats and salads also Vietnamese favourites. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Viet, Kim,Nico, I could name them all. The whole LAHANA team! Would we return? YES. My only reservation is Phu Quoc has only really just started as a tourist trap. I t needs to clean up its beaches and surrounding roads and lanes! I'm sure it will! Reminded me of Phuket 20 years ago! Now spotless. Thank you Lahana for a wonderful holiday!

After being stuck at home for the past 3 years and watching replays of Getaway, we finally got out of Australia and arrived in Phu Quoc. Stepping out of the taxi we were warmly greeted by the concierge staff with the traditional 'Xin Chao' as they escorted us into the beautiful Movenpick Resort foyer. Immediately my wife and I felt relaxed. This was what we had missed during COVID, escaping our busy lives and enjoying such beautiful resorts. Check-in was seamless and we were in our room in no time. I had an issue with our room and spoke to Linh at reception who was so nice and professional, and quickly resolved the situation. And in a flash we were by gorgeous pool and enjoying tropical cocktails. We spent the next 3 days laying around the pool, in the sun loungers looking out into the ocean, taking naps in the hammocks between the palm trees and enjoying the ocean breeze as we watched the sunsets. The Spa was amazing and one of the best we've experienced. The pre-spa sauna, stream room and spa baths was sooo relaxing. Breakfast was a feast to the eyes with delicious authentic Vietnamese food and a great international selection. The afternoons were spent devouring all sorts of enticing desserts during Chocolate Hour (and all for free, what a bonus!) We loved spending our evenings at Aura Beach Club as Vu was so helpful and attentive. He even got the whole team to sing Happy Birthday to me which was such a pleasant surprise. When we returned to our room, Linh and the reception team had organised a birthday cake and some gifts from the Resort. So sweet! It's things like this that make our holidays even more memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed Movenpick Resort Phu Quoc and the wonderful staff that made it so special. We will be back! and will bring all our families and friends :)

Pros: - good location, walking distance to Grand World - low price, best if you don’t spend much time at the hotel and mostly out and about - clean and modern decor Cons: - no aircon in corridor and elevator, it can be very uncomfortable to step in the elevator on hot days - no room service, no service at pool area, no option to pay for food and beverage at check out. - minibar is empty, instant coffee and tea bags are available yet no milk. When we requested milk for our cup of tea, the reception staff advised we would need to go to the bar (ground floor) to purchase milk at own cost. Milk is essential and it has always been provided free of charge wherever we’ve been (Bali, Singapore, Australia, etc.) - mid-stay ROOM INSPECTION. This is very UNPLEASANT practice to Westerners and should be stopped. Not sure if this is normal in Vietnam, but it is very displeasing and annoying to us (Australians). We often stayed a few weeks to months in Bali and other Asian countries, we’ve never had room inspection where 2 staff entered our room, 1 of them walked around the room pretending to check the skirting board with a screwdriver while the other was casing the room (it was obvious that they wanted to check to room). - poor English proficiency. Only one reception staff can speak English well, the rest of the staff don’t. My husband was quite frustrated during our stay because he couldn’t communicate with staff. We’ve stayed in Bali and other Asian countries, all of their staff are fluent in English including security and housekeeping staff. - lack of attention to food safety. Signage is very small. No cover when the meals bought outside to the pool area. Food was not kept at optimum temperature can cause bacteria to grow to dangerous levels that can cause illness. - lack of knowledge about beverage. Staff didn’t understand my husband’s order of Bourbon + Cola (very common drinks to Westerners) and advised they don’t have Bourbon. When my husband went to the bar with the staff, there was a big Bourbon bottle sitting on the shelf! - lack of customer service. Staff was not attentive to customers, my husband had to walked to the restaurant to get staff attention when we wanted food and drinks while we were at the pool. Staff should walk around and simply check in with customers. Staff didn’t greet customers when they walk past, again when we were in Bali and other Asian countries, their staff (everyone including housekeeping staff) always said good morning, good afternoon or good evening. - FACIAL BIOMETRICS RECOGNITION was an entry requirement to enter buffet breakfast. This should be disclosed in booking description including third-party websites like Agoda, Booking.com, etc. No information on Facial Biometrics Recognition are found anywhere or has ever been communicated to us prior to checking in. If we have known, we would stay elsewhere for sure (we will request that our data are permanently deleted from their system and we suggest that you do the sam

AAnonymous UserLove this hotel! I definitely will book again for my future trip! This hotel even send me birthday cake and birthday card, so warm ❤️ and there is complimentary airport transfer service, which save your taxi fares. and shutter bus for certain attraction point like safari, vinwonders, grand world.. all these super near. The hotel has their own beach and swimming pool, super nice, service super good! Highly recommended! Price is reasonable!! Grand world view omg, love it!
GGuest UserFairly a good stay and decent spread of breakfast buffet except for the airport pickup mishap. We called the hotel and confirmed the pickup time at 16:10 following the hotel schedule. However, we waited for the hotel shuttle van for 2 hours but unfortunately it did not show up. Explained to the reception about this issue however he did not seem to care much or maybe did not have the authority to offer a solution. The manager should have handled the situation in a better way at least by providing a room upgrade to make up for this inconvenience. Since we waited at the airport for a long time and we ended up paying an overcharged rate for a taxi. I tried to reach the manager multiple times however the reception staff informed me he was not available.
DDragana TomicThe staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. They were quick to respond to all our requests and made us feel welcomed and well taken care of.
The food at the hotel was outstanding! Each dish was freshly prepared and delicious, with a great variety of local specialties and international cuisine
The hotel's location is perfect for exploring Phu Quoc. It's conveniently situated close to the beaches and local attractions, yet far enough away from the crowds and noise. We enjoyed the beautiful sea view from the terrace of our suite.
BBenjamin Sch.The Hotel was beautiful and the garden very nice. The whole hotel area was very clean and has direct beach access, you can get towels at the pool and beach. The access to the water is suitable for children. The staff is fast and friendly in most cases but the food service at the pool was sometimes slow and quite pricy compared to the outside places. The rooms were comfortable and well functioning, the bathroom was in very good condition. The location is good, but outside of the Phu Quoc it’s. However, there is a small night market with many open restaurants is in walking distance. Along the beach you can find a nice walk way and the hotel also offers bike rentals among other sport activities. We would go there again. To other locations for snorkeling or so, you can take a taxi and get everywhere in 40-60 minutes.
GGuest UserThis hotel was very nice because it was so spacious and had a private swimming pool. It is good that you can freely move around inside the hotel and use various facilities through Tuktuk. I was able to use it more comfortably because Jiwon Lee and Hana staff responded kindly
GGuest UserMy stay at Grand World Phu Quoc near Windonder and Ganh Dau Beach was truly delightful. The resort's picturesque location offered stunning views of the ocean and lush surroundings. The accommodation was luxurious and comfortable, with modern amenities ensuring a relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly attentive, providing excellent service throughout my visit. The culinary experience was exceptional, with a variety of delicious dishes to choose from. I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the nearby attractions, such as Windonder and Ganh Dau Beach, which added to the overall charm of my stay. I would highly recommend Grand World Phu Quoc for a memorable getaway.
GGuest UserI had an absolutely fantastic stay at this resort. Everything was top-notch, from the impeccable service to the beautiful accommodations. All the front desk staff and buggy staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The rooms were luxurious and well-maintained. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!
SSEANIEBEEThe beach is a disgrace (not this hotel's fault specifically) but the people of this town clearly have no respect for their waters. Litter and plastic floating in the sea and all washed up on the shore...This hotel is new but utterly soulless...the staff are going around as if they're terrified someone in management is going to reprimand them at any moment for doing something wrong. And as a guest, you get the feeling they think you're here to stiff them out of, oh, I dunno, towels or robes or water... it's bordering on paranoia. I was in the petit room which, although small, is fine for one person... it's well designed and well appointed with high ceilings and a cool bathroom (shower only) and cool floor to ceiling windows that frame the dirty beach... and let locals watch you while you go to the toilet. Breakfast was mainly Asian food, but a substantial buffet nonetheless...however overall the place is sterile... it's clean but gives you no reason to want to sit at their always empty bar/restaurant...nor by the pool. The little rooms are well priced... it's only 5 mins walk to the Night Market... and the hotel is M for modern. But it thinks it's better than it is and needs to inject a bit of life and fun into itself and stop taking itself so seriously....oh and they wanted to keep my passport for the duration of my stay, or else pay an exorbitant deposit that would be ”refunded within 3 or 4 weeks” !😳 Grow up people... it's a slightly above average hotel you're running not a bank. Very missable all things considered...
GGuest UserSadly I would not feel happy to recommend Sunset Beach. I was extremely excited about our up coming trip and so looking forward to it after a month of travelling around Vietnam. It did not live up to my expectations in the slightest. The good points, room was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom and the hotel is in a great location for capturing the sunset. Other than that everything else was extremely disappointing. The breakfast was chaotic, I have never been to a hotel where I have had to share a table with other residents. But there are not enough tables. Same applies for the sun beds around the pool and on the beach, also towels. Not enough to service 117 rooms. Sunset beach do not offer the option of charging to your room so you have to carry cash or a card with you all the time. We were also made to settle each round after they were delivered and could not run up a tab. Bar staff were incredibly slow at delivering drinks and orders were forgotten or wrong. Whilst our room had a sea view it was somewhat marred by the view of the roof of the restaurant. The fireshow that was put on as entertainment was extremely concerning as audience members were encouraged to take part at spitting methylated spirit out. I also witnessed a near accident when one of the performers tripped over a hose that hadn’t been buried deeply enough in the sand. All in all our stay wasn’t the experience we had hoped for and we would not recommend this hotel to friends or family. What I would like to recommend is the beach restaurant next door. The food is delicious and half the price.
