We liked everything.
Not the newest rooms, but not run-down either.
A great option for the price.
3 swimming pools, good bar.
The only thing that upset us was that at night mice were scratching and rustling somewhere behind the ceiling.

We were given a room with a view of the pool, the area of the room seemed smaller to me than stated. Everything worked in the room, it was clean, the bed was comfortable. The pool is very large. The distance to the beach is of course far, you can't find it.

Horrible soundproofing!!! It's impossible to sleep at night! Someone is hooting from above or from the side without stopping, bikers are driving, making noise, shouting, do something about it 😤😤😤

We had a wonderful stay at Citygate! The hotel is amazingly priced for what you get, the hotel is lovely and they food on site is great. You can order straight by the pool with a drink or to your room with no issue. They let us check out an hour late as we went to the local elephant sanctuary and needed to pack before we left which was great. They also have someone there to help you book any excursions you may want to do. Don’t forget to haggle the price though! They have a shuttle to the beach as well! Oh also while I was there I saved a little bird from drowning in the pool.
