I lived 7 days in this hotel. Both beaches nearby are excellent. On the left is Surin: clear water, strong waves, small. On the right is Ban Tao: you can walk for 2 hours along the beach and find a secluded place. Many different cafes/restaurants with excellent music and shows and DJs. The room itself is a little shabby, but has everything you need. Specifically, my air conditioner did not work well, the shower holder was broken, it smelled of spices and food all week after the previous tenant. Otherwise everything is fine. It is convenient to leave your things at the reception upon check-out, and take a shower in a separate closed shower by the pool if you have a late flight. The staff is friendly. Water, dishes, bathrobes, and bathroom amenities are provided. Grocery stores uphill 10 min. View from the rooftop pool area 😍

Pictures can be deceiving. Dirty and far too cramped. You couldn't get to the closet or the window. Bathroom door covered in stains, sofa dirty, chairs and table stained.
Shower only had cold water.
Towels broken. Duvet too small for the oversized bed sheet.
There was no place to sit on the balcony.
Bad wifi!
View from the pool nice, but not enough loungers and all in the sun, no shade. Very crowded and loud because of the Russians. Some of the tiles in the pool were broken and therefore there was a risk of injury.
Gym OK, but no air conditioning.
