Sometimes loud music until 3 in the morning from a neighboring bar. But in standard rooms without balconies you can hardly hear it. Heard in superior rooms with balconies

I was very disappointed with the Wave Hotel! I was already browsing on ************ at the end of last year and the description and photos appealed to me: With 2 pools, a restaurant, a bar and a good price/performance ratio. The restaurant and bar no longer exist, behind one pool (the second one no longer belongs to the hotel either!) there is a multi-story, abandoned construction site as a view on the side with balconies, on the other side you could only see as far as the next house wall! Then I asked by email both via the platform mentioned and directly to the hotel (before I even knew the real view) whether the standard rooms already had a balcony, because I was a smoker and really wanted one! If not, I would like to upgrade to a room with a balcony. No Answer! When I arrived in mid-February I was given a room with a window, no view, or just this wall of the house with a few mobile radio antennas on the roof... upgrade not possible, fully booked! 😒 Luckily, with wise foresight and foresight, I booked in two parts: initially only booked for 2 weeks and reserved for the whole of March, with free cancellation up to 3 days before arrival! I booked the next day at another, much nicer hotel for March and canceled at Wave! I definitely don't recommend it! ☹️
