Seabed Grand Hotel Phuket

Phuket Town Phuket|0.64km from Nilfisk
This hotel requires a lot of improvements. That being said, we spent more time out then using the facilities. Check in process: We arrived at 12:30pm, asked if we could check in earlier which they advised it won’t be ready for 40mins. We came back 40mins later after having our welcome drink (which was purple dyed coconut water in a martini glass). He said it won’t be ready for an hour so we left the hotel to walk about. It’s now 14:10 (check in time is 14:00 so you’d think it would be ready), we were told to wait another 20mins. We finally checked in at 14:30. Food: We only had breakfast at the Hotel as we were so close to Old Town, it didn’t make sense to eat at the hotel and there’s a 7/11 near by for snacks. Breakfast was not great. Food was bland, options were very limited. My husband and I didn’t eat much, we were only there to make sure our kids could eat a bit of fruits and pastries. House keeping: They do not sweep, we know this because our son would bring croissant back and the crumbs were still there after they’ve come in to replenish our towels. Reception: They were lovely and informative. Most of the above feedback were out of their control. Swimming Pool: The pool beds looked and felt a bit out dated, I have stayed in 4 star hotels in Phuket that were in better conditions than this 5 star hotel. That being said my kids still had a lot of fun in them. Location: Not walking distance from Old Town but close enough that the taxi’s only cost up 150baht each way. I’ll unlikely stay here again nor would I recommend the hotel to our friends and family. It was ok but not great.

We were satisfied with our room in this hotel: - the room was clean and got cleaned every day - there's a fridge in the room and you get a small bottle of water every day - it's near the city center of Phuket Town (around 15 minutes on foot) but you don't hear the traffic in the center (there were some roosters next to the hotel, and they were pretty loud and active from around 5 am, but I guess this was something temporary because nobody else wrote about them :D) - you can climb the Khao Rang viewpoint before the peek tourist hours (it takes around 10-15 minutes to the top) There are no real negative parts to this room, but just in an fyi sort of way - we booked a room with a balcony and although the balcony was there, it's not really a sort of a place to sit in and relax, which we thought it would be (you enter it through a window, it's pretty small and tight). The other thing is that we needed transport to the Rassada Pier early one morning and the hotel has or can organize this transport - but the price we were told was pretty high (700 baht!), which is pretty strange considering that even the regular-taxi-mafia charged less than this. I wouldn't mind staying here again, but mainly since my boyfriend and I aren't drivers and couldn't rent a scooter, next time I would probably search for accommodation closer to the bus station because this would make it easier to travel to other parts of the island with public transport and avoid taxis as much as possible.

Mayfa Hotel

Phuket Town
There is a parking lot, but it's almost full. There is no lift. On the first day, the toilet was clogged. For 3 days of stay, we never changed towels, did not take out the trash, did not give soap and toilet paper, did not clean the room. Killed a hefty cockroach that ran across the table in the room. The staff does not speak English well. Of the benefits - inexpensive, spacious room and near a cheap fruit market and a large park. Problems with the toilet and water heater were quickly resolved.

A good, and reasonably priced small hotel. If you want to be in the hubbub of Phuket Town or by the beach, it’s not for you. I stayed here last year, and we stayed again this year, because we have family nearby, so it’s very convenient for us. There is not much to do around the hotel, but you can have a good morning or evening walk in the King Rama Park nearby. The rooms are clean, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Because of the Pandemic, they stopped serving breakfast, which is a shame. But there is a fridge, so you have opportunity to keep some food there. I would have liked a couple of plates, bowls and some cutlery though. There is a small, but nice swimming pool that we used a lot. Two minutes down the road is a small supermarket. The minus for me was the hard pillows, I would have appreciated something a bit softer. All in all, we would stay again.

The rooms are large, the price is very cheap, the rented motorcycles are close to the weekend night market in Phuket. The single hotel itself is very remote, but the environment is very good, but the bathroom is not very good. Less than two hundred yuan a night is ok, the room is a suite, the living room is also good, we can live in a bed of three. The price is here, after all going to the airport the next morning. I want to go to the weekend night market and choose the hotel.

Recenta Suite Phuket Suanluang

We stayed one night at Recenta Suite Phuket. The suite room was nice and spacious and secured. There were many parking (outdoor) available on site. Check-in was fast and easy. Security guard was helpful with our luggages. The room got fridge, sink, and microwave. There was also a sofa bed for extra person. Amenities were limited so better to BYO. Bed was super soft and big. Wifi was close to non-existing or could be my Mac that just couldn't connect to the network at all. The environment around the hotel was nice and quiet. Not many traffic towards the hotel. Breakfast was limited but ok. Check-out was also fast and easy and the receptionist was helpful with room rate etc in case of the return guest. Overall, we like the place and will be back again.
Nam Naka Boutique Hotel
4.4/5127 Reviews
Phuket Town
I recently had the opportunity to stay at Nam Naka Boutique Hotel, and while the experience had its moments of charm, there were notable areas that left room for improvement. The boutique hotel is nestled in a picturesque location, offering a tranquil atmosphere that provides a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The staff were generally friendly and welcoming, contributing to a positive initial impression. However, one aspect that stood out was the somewhat lacking amenities. While the hotel exuded a quaint charm, it fell short in terms of modern conveniences. The absence of certain amenities that are considered standard in many hotels left a noticeable gap in the overall guest experience. For instance, the fitness center was minimal, and the Wi-Fi connection was inconsistent, making it challenging for guests who rely on a reliable internet connection. Cleanliness, another crucial aspect of any accommodation, was also a concern. Although the rooms had a rustic appeal, I couldn't help but notice that certain areas were not as well-maintained as expected. The attention to detail in cleaning seemed lacking, and this detracted from the overall comfort of the stay. It's essential for a boutique hotel to prioritize cleanliness to ensure guests feel at ease during their visit.
