I made my annual return to Clearwater for Phillies Spring Training games and my trip is not complete without staying at this wonderful location. It's always great to see the friendly faces year after year and the excellent service they provide (Stephen, Dawn, Dan, Joe, Andrew, Carlos) and a few others whose names I cannot recall(sorry). Front desk staff always professional and helpful; maintenance crew always handy to resolve any issues with the room. I had a room on the 2nd floor (228) overlooking the pool area. Everything worked well - no complaints at all. I love the private balcony! For longer stays, housekeeping is every 3 days unless requested otherwise - they do a great job. Breakfast is still served in the conference center - gloves are provided to wear when handling certain items. Some people didn't wear them but I did for safety reasons. Plenty of items to choose from and items were well-stocked throughout the morning. Pool area was very clean and well taken care of with plenty of lounge chairs. It's always hard to say goodbye to these fine people when it's time to go back home, but they know (and I know) that I'll be back next March!

This hotel is a dump. The rooms look like something out of a movie about cheap **********s and their johns--old smelly carpets, broken furniture, door safety latch that was actually missing, bathroom fan like a Harley Davidson. There are so many better places to stay in Clearwater, and we wish we had. The last straw was that we were told to bring our dirty sheets and towels to the check-in counter because there wasn't any housekeeping service.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on Gulf-to-Bay in Clearwater for two nights to escape Hurricane Ian. The room was clean and comfortable and it was great to have a free hot breakfast each morning. The lobby has lots of comfortable seating and a big TV. The hotel is in a non-evacuation zone and I felt totally safe and really didn’t hear the rain and wind.

We didn’t book this place initially but I’m glad we wound up here. We drove overnight, 7 hours, with a child in the backseat and the hotel that we booked told us that we missed the 12 am deadline and that they wouldn’t check us in. We sat in the parking lot until we felt unsafe and called other local hotels until someone (Quality Inn) had a vacancy. The Quality Inn about 10 minutes up the road was $20 more with an included breakfast. The clerk was apologetic and also gave us a free late check out. The hotel was clean and had a great balcony and beautiful pool area. I would certainly stay here again. .

We recently stayed for 2 nights at this hotel since although it was overpriced, its nightly rates were better than its competition's. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was standard fare for a Holiday Inn Express, and we appreciated the one type of fresh fruit each morning (oranges the first morning, bananas the second.) And the bed was comfortable. The worst part of the stay, and the one reason why I won't stay here again: the A/C in our room was SO loud . . . There was an A/C unit on the wall that appeared to do nothing, which led us to try the A/C unit directly under the window. It worked fine at cooling the room, but - even with ear plugs - was much too loud for us to fall asleep with. The only solution that worked was turning off the A/C completely, leading to a too-warm room halfway through the night. (Not okay with Florida's high temperatures.) So frustrating!! The location is okay; not near the things and people in Tampa Bay that we visited, and traffic in Pinellas as of late is awful. If this will be the case for you too, add some time to your calculations of when to leave to get somewhere.

LLA CasselsWe enjoyed everything about this historic hotel: the room, the lobby chock full of art and references to its speak-easy past, the pastry shop, the bar, the comfy, covered front porch, the pool and fountains, food and drinks served poolside, the friendly staff, and the friendly guests we met. Also, the Hollander is perfectly located in St. Pete, being in the historic downtown district near my company headquarters and close to great destinations such as the Salvador Dali museum, Chihuly blown-glass gallery, and Morean arts center. I love historic downtowns and boutique hotels such as the Hollander. The rooms in historic hotels are often smaller than ones in chain hotels, but they more than compensate with their unique personalities and intimate atmospheres, which leave me with vivid memories of my stays in these sweet lodgings and the cities they call home.

GGuest UserFairfield Inn is located a short walking distance from the heart of Clearwater, Florida. It's approximately a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, as well as the main-*****. In my opinion, it's in a perfect location, short of being right on the beach - and is a little more quiet than other places nearby. The hotel is newer and has several amenities including an heated outdoor pool, fitness room, complimentary breakfast, and golf cart shuttle rides to nearby locations. The staff we encountered during our stay were friendly and helpful. Our room and bathroom were spacious and CLEAN. The breakfast had many options and a variety of different selections daily. My only wish is that there would have been an outdoor hot tub or sauna. And monly complaint is the mandatory valet parking. When on vacation, I prefer to have quick, easy access to my vehicle rather than waiting and having to tip each time I leave or return, in addition to paying the daily parking fee.

GGuest UserGreat stay, even better than expected! We checked in here after a nightmare cruise and came to see the atl vs. tpa baseball game. The location was perfect for the game and the hotel exceeded all expectations. EMILY was amazing and let us drop off our bags early and even called us directly to let us know out room was ready a little early for check in, just like we requested! We couldn't have asked for a better experience all because of her. She checked in us with ease and was extremely friendly and nice to speak with. The rooms were extremely clean - even offered multiple packs of wipes! The beds were very very comfortable, sheets felt great and clean. The bathroom was stocked and large! A highlight was a ledge in the shower allowing us to store our items on it, which NEVER happens at a hotel (Things always end up having to be placed on the floor because there is usually one little corner shelf). We had four grown adults in the rooms and it never felt crowded once! The internet was easy to access and very fast, the elevators felt safe and were clean, the lounge and lobby were very spacious as well. Can't say enough good things about this hotel as a Marriott Gold Elite member. Would absolutely stay here again (hopefully with Emily again at the check in desk!).

GGregory SomozaMy husband and I booked a vacation at the Bilmar in treasure island and we loved it! Heather and Viola at the front desk were a pleasure! Heather went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. The room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Everything was in walking distance of the hotel, and the beach and pool was amazing.
Mike and Louis, the bartenders at Sloppy Joe’s and Waves were awesome. From the staff to the resort and location everything was wonderful and we can’t wait to return!
And do not miss the most beautiful sunsets you will ever see!

GGuest UserI booked this for my wife to attend a religious speaker near by this hotel. My wife arrived late and was not greeted how any customers should be greater. ONLY ”ID PLEASE!” As my wife searched for her ID he said another ”I SAID I NEED YOUR ID” The next day I get a call from the woman at the front desk say that I was staying in two room and I would be charged and I needed to figure out what room I wanted to stay. I called my wife to ask what was the situation with the ac that made her change room. She did not change room nor complain about anything. The woman in the phone said ”Well we need to figure this out and someone needs to move the luggage to one room or we are going to bill you for both rooms” I told her she was wrong my wife was still in the original room. I ask to talk to the manager she told me they would not call till Monday. Insulting us and insinuating that we were defrauding an inn keeper. Stay June 23 to June 25. I have messaged in the app and the text message service the hotel uses with out any responses.

EEmilyWhile researching hotels, I visited this property a month before my arrival to make sure the accommodation would work for my purposes. At that time, I was shown a specific layout for the 1 bedroom queen beds configuration. The front desk attendant specified the description of the room that I should book when I made the reservation.
I made the reservation based on their information and the room I was shown.
A month later when I check in, I am given a room half the size of the one I was shown. I tell the front desk that it was not what I was told and I am unhappy with the room and I need the bigger room. The gas let me and told me that they had already given me the biggest room they had. I'm not kidding when it was literally half the size of the one I previewed.
I walked the front desk attendance to the door of the room I was shown and was assured that those rooms are the same size and they couldn't be shown to me at that time because they were occupied.
I had to cancel most of the event I had planned due to lack of space and lost revenue I would have earned giving a workshop to paying pupils.
Complete bait and switch. Avoid this property.

GGuest UserStayed at this Courtyard for a quick weekend trip to St. Pete. The hotel is a historic building. The staff was friendly and helpful. Although it was an older building the hotel seems to have been recently updated. The rooms were a little on the small side for a Courtyard, but very nice. The location is close to the downtown and Pier area. 15 to 20 min drive to the beach depending on the beach. Very centrally located. My only issue was the amount to park ($37 a night).The valet staff was nice and professional.

BBella BooStayed here for a little over a week. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Nice pool area. Location is kind of away from a lot of things but there's some nearby Latin Shops and a great breakfast place right next door. The room stayed clean and well stocked. Very quiet laid back area for reasonable prices. Pets are welcome and they even have what used to be a Dog park in the back behind the building next to an old tennis court. They are renovating right now as well. Breakfast in the front office was pretty basic...cereal coffee...fruit...danishes and yogurt. I recommend this place...new management is doing a great job. 🤗😁
