The boss is very refreshing, the room is large, clean and classical. But there is an appointment on the trip that has not been conveyed. The checkin on the spot is a little troublesome. The boss is very refreshing to solve it.
Maison Dei Miracoli

We stayed in the painting apartment for 1 night. The location is excellent, near the center and Tower, the Miracles Square. This is the only positive factor in this structure. For the rest of the dirty, cold room with heat out, smell of muffa and towels already found wet, no bidet. If you want to use the air conditioner as heating, the dust of 1900 .... You enter with numerical code but instead of investing in technology (to not have to check in and check out personally) you would be better pay more attention to the cleaning and the care of the room and invest in this sense. The quality ratio price is very bad. In the room attention to the very high degree that leads from the bedroom to the bathroom .... very dangerous

The hotel is perfectly located literally 2 minutes from The Leaning Tower. The street outside has plenty restaurants, supermarkets and small shops. Our room was on the first floor. Basic, but very clean with a small fridge and ensuite facilities. Also on the first floor is a small roof terrace where you can have breakfast or drinks overlooking the Tower. You can buy chilled beer, wine and soft drinks from reception. The staff are a real credit to the hotel: very friendly, courteous and helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending Hotel Franceso.

This hotel, now called Hotel Villa Tower Inn , is definitely a 3-star hotel -- as indicated in the Trip Advisor description here and NOT 4-star as suggested by their logo and promotions. I suppose it may be a decent 3-star hotel: quaint, near the only real attractions that draw you to Pisa, easy-to-find, with 24-hour reception, a mini-bar fridge, LCD TV, etc. I understand from some reviews that there are renovated rooms. Not 207, although the bathroom sports updated amenities. The paint is aging and the decor is ”charming” where charm stand-ins for ”subpar” like ”antique” stands-in for ”old.” The headboard has probably seen better days and seen many things. I say that because this is the ”Romantic” room. It's romantic because with more than one person in the room there is going to be a lot of touching--intended or not. The ceiling is very high: eyeballing it, the height of the room is easily 20% more than either its length or width. Continuing on the theme of odd perspectives and charm, there is an armour in the room. It is perfectly serviceable, though only Michael Jordan could use the top of the two clothes rods. It is 3” short of the 8' height of a basketball rim. (I measured.) How such a guest would fit for sleep is a whole other question... The room has what seems to be an anemic little A/C that turns out to be surprisingly up to the job at least through the night. It was so hot out this week that we hardly bothered to open the shutters (inside or out), except to note that the view from this room is of a wall and hospital parking area/park. I'm trying not to be too *****y because the hotel can't possibly live up to my expectations of a 4-star hotel. It shouldn't have to... unless, of course, its logo suggests that it has 4-stars.

Visited this place booked last minute due to other locations being in lock down. This place is brilliant. Nice located within 5 minutes walk of the tower and 10 minutes to the main shops. The premises is nice and clean and well presented. Spoke to Luca beforehand who only asked that we text him ahead to let him know what time we were arriving. Met by a very pleasant and knowledgeable receptionist who booked us in and proceeded to give us a map with recommendations of things to do which was very helpful. Also recommended a very nice restaurant I-Santi a few doors away which was brilliant and subject of a separate review. The room was large and had it’s own balcony with table chairs and other bits of furniture. The tower was viewable from the balcony photo attached. The added touch was the supplied breakfast the following morning which had a full continental choice. Wouldn’t hesitate to stop here again, well done to Luca and the team

I booked this hotel after seeing another reviewer say that they stayed here as a solo female traveller and found it clean and safe. I would echo this reviewer's comments. I stayed here for five nights, and used Pisa as a base to travel to other places (namely Lucca, Firenze, and Siena) so wanted somewhere within a reasonable walking distance of the train station as I envisioned returning to the hotel when it was dark. I took the 'Pisa mover' shuttle from the airport to Pisa Centrale station (which cost €5 and took around 5 minutes), and then the walk to Hotel Bologna with my suitcase was in pretty much a straight line through the main square and down paved and well lit streets. It took around 7 minutes to walk from the station to the hotel. I arrived at Hotel Bologna at around 10:00 and was able to leave my suitcase in a secure room (no charge) whilst I spent the day exploring Pisa. I came back around 18:00, collected my case, and formally checked in (although I could have checked in at 13:30) before heading out for dinner. Staff were mainly young and male, and were pleasant and spoke very good English. I was allocated room 16 which was on the first floor and overlooked the small car park and a patio area. There was no external noise apart from the odd aeroplane which cannot be helped anywhere in Pisa, although I imagine that (1) people might use the patio for drinks in better/warmer weather which would bother me if they were rowdy; and (2) people in the rooms which overlook the road at the front of the hotel (Via Giuseppe Mazzini) might experience a bit of traffic noise. The internal walls seemed quite thin and I suspect that the bathroom of the adjoining room was located right next to my bed as it was noisier than expected when they were having a shower and talking in the bathroom. However, luckily, the people next door weren't particularly noisy and showered at a reasonable time, so it didn't bother me per se. I stayed in a single room (single bed with en-suite) which was definitely big enough for just myself/did not feel cramped. The room was decorated in a more 'traditional Tuscan style' (think greens, reds, and golds) so not particularly 'instagram worthy' but neither am I. The room and bathroom felt and were kept very clean by housekeeping, as were the bedding and towels. The bathroom contained a toilet, shower cubicle with sliding doors, bidet, sink with large mirror, tissue dispenser, sanitary bag dispenser, toilet brush, bin with lid, and hairdryer. You receive complimentary shampoo, body wash, intimate wash, vegetable based soap bar, shower cap, and shoe sponge. In the bedroom there is another bin and a desk and chair with large mirror. Underneath the desk is a mini fridge containing a range of drinks and snacks, which I removed and instead used the fridge to store my own food and drink which I purchased from a Carrefour Express minimart which was a circa 5 minute walk away near the main shopping street.
