"First of all, this convenient environment is great! It is also a hotel with a view of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. but! Very unreliable On the first day we arrived we were stuck in the elevator for 15 minutes, we couldn't get out, the elevator door wouldn't open, the buttons were all black, and it was hard to contact anyone. The staff came and taught us how to force it open. If you don't understand English or Italian as a foreigner you will really collapse! After pressing the force button, you will still fall when all the fires are extinguished! The first reaction after getting out of the elevator was nausea and vomiting. The next day was even funnier. We told the hotel front desk one day in advance and asked them to book a taxi for us the next day to take us to the station! The hotel said that we didn't need to make a reservation, and that we only needed to call in 5 minutes on the morning. However, we arrived 15 minutes earlier the next day, but we still couldn't get a call after almost half an hour, which directly caused us to miss the train and lose more than 100 euros in ticket money."

"The service was excellent, the environment was quiet and beautiful, and the view of the sea and boats outside the window was truly stunning. The next morning, we even went to the hotel's beach. Although it was a bit far to drive, the free parasols and lounge chairs were provided, which was definitely worth it. However, the breakfast was relatively simple, nothing special."

"The hotel is located in a very small town. The hotel itself is good. I got a new room, there was no noise. Very clean, cleaned every day. Of the shortcomings I can note: no shampoo, a poorly working refrigerator and no glasses in the room. I asked for glasses at the reception, they sent me to the bar, where they gave me plastic glasses.... I took glass ones myself, since I do not drink from plastic. The hotel and Tirrenia itself are an ideal place to distance yourself from the world. Life in the city freezes at 8-9 o'clock. There is nowhere to go. A good supermarket and several restaurants are a 2-minute walk from the hotel. The food in none of them was particularly impressive. The sea is gorgeous. Very clean. The beach is also kept clean. Pisa is a half-hour bus ride from the hotel. There is nothing to do there, except for visiting the tower, but it is not long - 30 minutes maximum. Thank you for the rest."

"We stayed here for a few days in room 27, and can see why the previous review could have said that it was loud. There is music in reception late into the night and from about 7am so I guess it’s just pick of the rooms as to whether you are close to reception or not with Hotiday booking. But we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the staff in reception were lovely and the hotels private beach is beautiful. There are lifeguards across the beach and hotel pool and there are gazebos and sun loungers to rent at the beach or free at the pool. We stayed on the beach for 2 days and by the pool for 2 days. Breakfast had a great selection and we ate in the restaurants along the beach in the evening and at lunchtime. There is a lot of sea food on all menus. We arrived from the airport using the express train to Pisa central and then the number 10 bus, it was very easy. Would definitely stay again!"

"The Minerva hotel is nicely located near the Pisa train station and airport. The rooms are small but clean. Everyone was nice and the breakfast was a nice spread with plenty of choices of breads, meat and cheese cuts and fruits and vegetables. They were kind enough to make me a big cup of coffee which I really appreciated. The rooms are air-conditioned but for some reason they could not turn on the AC until June 1sr. It did not prove to be a problem as the night was cool enough to close the window later. There is no lift so that would be my only complaint as I am over seventy-five. Oh, ask for a room facing the garden as it will be much quieter."
