The platform recommended this hotel and also listed the room type as a double room for two. My child and I also specified a double bed when we booked. Upon arrival, the arrogant front desk staff, who appeared to be Indian or other Asian nationalities (those who know understand), immediately charged me an extra 30 euros for my child. I was completely baffled. I asked why we had booked a double bed for only one person, but they said the extra bed was for luggage! I then asked for the policy regarding the 30 euro surcharge, but they couldn't provide any evidence and insisted it was just that. I immediately contacted Ctrip, but to my disappointment, their overseas department had no role in the communication with the hotel and kept repeating the hotel's rules. Only after I emphasized that the platform was also responsible for misleading information did they agree to respond the next day, explaining that it was midnight in China and couldn't handle the situation. By then, my child and I had been waiting at the front desk for two hours, nearing midnight. Finally, we had no choice but to check into the hotel. I would like to use this review to dissuade people from booking this hotel. It is best to use overseas platforms to book overseas hotels. Ctrip needs to improve its overseas operations."

"Unfortunately, I can only give a bad review. The reason is the completely outdated photos in the description. They look friendly, bright, and inviting. In reality, those days are long gone at this hotel. We were looking forward to the pool, a must at this time of year! But it wasn't open; instead, it was green and unsightly. A tennis court? They're building a house on it, wow 🤔 The hotel lobby was dark, and the aquarium was dirty. The breakfast buffet was an absolute disaster. In fact, none of these pictures reflect reality. There's a lot of work to be done!!!"

"Up the stairs, I was greeted by cozy, antique furniture reminiscent of Tom's cottage or Heidi's attic, along with clean shower facilities and good water pressure. Tea and cookies were provided, and since the Leaning Tower of Pisa was about five minutes away, I visited it on the night of my arrival and was able to sightsee very comfortably the next day as well. The only slight inconvenience was carrying my bag up the stairs, but that was manageable. Every single piece of furniture was wonderful, showing great consideration for the guest. It is definitely a place I would like to stay again."

"Affordable price, excellent location, very close to Pisa train station. The front desk is open 24 hours; I arrived at the hotel at 12:30 AM by train and was able to check in successfully. Luggage storage is available, very convenient. The buffet breakfast is €10 per person, children were only charged half price. The breakfast selection isn't extensive, but it has the essentials. The Americano from the coffee machine had sugar, so the staff made an iced Americano by hand, attentive service. Regarding the accommodation, the room is a bit small, but for a typical one-night stay in Pisa, it's adequate for basic needs. Improvements needed: 1. After checking in early in the morning, I could still hear the front door slamming loudly; I suggest installing a damping device. Also, the water pipes were noisy; I'm not sure if it's because I'm on the first floor and the soundproofing is poor. However, I was tired from sightseeing and fell asleep quickly. 2. Like many reviews, there's no kettle. When I asked the front desk, they explained that the tap water is drinkable, and several hotels I stayed at in Italy had signs saying "Tap Water is drinkable." Ultimately, I couldn't overcome my own unease and drank bottled water from the refrigerator. 1. I suggest referring to other hotels and clearly indicating that tap water is drinkable. 2. Their room keys are real keys, not room cards, and they have a heavy, round tag attached—very retro, probably from their early days. It's unique but definitely heavy, haha ​​😃. 3. All drinks in the refrigerator are charged, including bottled water. I suggest clearly labeling this to avoid misunderstandings. (We weren't charged for the bottled water in the end, probably because we ate the buffet breakfast.) Overall, it's good value for money."

The common area had a refrigerator and microwave, which was very convenient. The Tower of Pisa was within walking distance of the accommodation, making it a great place to visit."
