"The hotel is very comfortable, a bit dated but has everything you need. The location is unique, just 3 minutes from the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Breakfast is simple but does the job. The staff speak French and were very helpful with parking the car. However, the parking spot recommended by the hotel isn't safe; we met a family who had just found their car with a broken window and their belongings stolen. I recommend parking on the parallel street to the hotel and paying for it through the hotel. Overall, it was decent, I recommend it."

The room was beautiful with incredible decor and great attention to detail, the garden area was also gorgeous and very romantic! Very clean amd very comfortable with all of the necessary amenities.
The breakfast was delicious and substantial and the wine was the best we had in Pisa!

"This is a hotel in the Italian suburbs. Besides the inconvenient location, everything else was okay. The hotel breakfast was chaotic and overcrowded, making it impossible to find a seat. Dinner was decent, and the price was genuinely cheap – it was probably the most affordable Italian full meal I had during my trip to Italy."

"Similar to the homestay, you can park for free and walk to the Leaning Tower of Pisa for about 15 minutes. Breakfast is on the top of the building, although the variety is not a lot, but for the hotel, it is not bad. General room facilities"

"It was interesting to stay in a building that's over 100 years old. We were given a long, narrow room with two beds arranged in a line. This didn't affect our rest. However, because there was a connecting door to the next room, it wasn't soundproof. We could hear a elderly couple next door speaking in hushed tones, and we were careful to do the same – a mutual consideration, I suppose. The shower stall was tiny, which is a common issue in Europe. Being short, I managed, but I can't imagine how taller Europeans cope. The service was excellent and breakfast was superb. The location is prime, situated between the train station and the Leaning Tower of Pisa, both within walking distance."

"The location was perfect for me because it was close to the railway station. The hotel personnel was friendly and kind, they even offered me a teapot. Breakfast had a good variety and it was delicious.
However, I couldn't control the A/C - the cleaner decides on the temperature, and the machine shut down every 8 minutes because it was optioned that way. My apologies, but it is fascism. I couldn't get cool in stuffy day and I couldn't sleep well.
Another discomfort was with having shower. No matter to where move the handle, but you get the extreme hot water anyway first, and then it becomes bearable after some waiting. Nevertheless, you can forget about having a warm shower.
The toilet water splashed on me after I pressed the button.
And, as usual with Italian hotels, it has no carpet."

What a nice place to stay in central Pisa! It doesn't look much from outside, but as soon as you pass through the front door you find that you're in a quiet cool oasis (note: there is quite a long flight of stairs up to the rooms - no lift - so not great for those with mobility issues).
Our room was spacious and comfortable and, despite overlooking a small square with restaurants, very quiet at night (there's quad-glazing on the window). You can order breakfast, or just enjoy the snacks left for us in the room. There's a microwave and drink making set-up in the lounge which was very handy.
The owners are friendly and helpful and were happy for us to leave our luggage for a few hours on the last day.
Staff are on site only in the mornings, and initially we were a bit sceptical about the entry/check in process (done with a QR code online), but it all worked flawlessly.
We would happily stay here again if we visit Pisa in the future :-)

This was the cheapest yet best hotel during my trip to Italy! I have no idea why it was so affordable! Modern, clean, spacious, and bright!!! The best part is it's incredibly cheap for what you get, right across from the train station. The soundproofing is excellent thanks to the double-glazed windows. The bathroom is super clean with great water pressure, perfect for long-haired women to wash their hair!!! I didn't get breakfast here as I didn't purchase it; instead, I went to a dumpling place in Pisa.

Carmen Prieto DiazThe location is unbeatable!!! If it weren't for a pine tree, we would have seen the Leaning Tower from our window. The staff were lovely and let us store our luggage after check-out. The room is large but old and needs a renovation. The carpet was patchy and old, and details were damaged... Plus, since it was December 31st, it was quite expensive, and overall it was just an old room.

Guest UserA 5 minute walk from Pisa, very helpful and friendly staff 24 hours. There isnt a lift, however staff insisted in carrying our bags up the stairs, very helpful!
We were late to breakfast, and they still accommodated for us (a couple). They set up a Private breakfast for us to in the bar dining on the ground floor, asked what we wanted to eat and drink, and kept coming back to see if it was enough. It included pancakes, eggs, toast, pastries, cappuchino with pretty coffee art, teas, spreads, homemade cake, juice. They brought us more when they came pass.
Highly recommend this stay :) well worth the money!

The single room itself was very spacious. There is plenty of floor space in both the bedrooms and bathrooms. The bed was average, but acceptable. The wireless internet is fast and good, and the TV is big enough. The staff are cool but efficient.

CookieChunHaving read mixed reviews on this hotel, i decided to give it a go as the price was reasonable for a large hotel with nice pool. Upon arrival, the front staff was fantastic, polite and helpful. We got upgraded to a larger room with balcony. The room was quite simple but clean. We had to request for slippers and toothbrushes as it is not provided unless you ask. We were extremely disappointed that the pool was closed even though it was 21°C and the sun was blazing hot. I chose this hotel so we could chill by the pool on the first day but obviously that didn't happen. The pool area was not maintained well maybe because of winter just before. It states in the website, there are two restaurants and bar but there was only one restaurant called Lumen. We went there the first night, the starters were excellent but the mains were very mediocre. The spaghetti was horrible, very soggy. Paying €150 for a meal for 3 if us was not really worth it as the mains were not good at all, and we had one dessert to share. Breakfast was not great, hot food option was not that nice. The bakery items were good though.
Overall, it was okay... esp for that price. Location is close to Pisa Tower (15mins walk) and 7 mins ride to Pisa Centrale Stazione. Taximove app is very reliable and we used it to get to station and airport at reasonable prices.

The location is great because it is practically attached to the Piazza dei Miracoli. Next to the hotel there is a McDonald's with Mccafe inside which easily makes up for the lack of breakfast. The rooms are small but equipped with all comforts. To access the rooms there is a flight of stairs a bit steep and there is no elevator. Overall, excellent value for money.

I stayed at the Continental Hotel for a night on August 16 and found my mixed experience. Although it is a 4-star hotel, I noticed some areas that could benefit from a restructuring.
Position and services:
The hotel's location is certainly a favourable point, being directly on the sea and equipped with a large pool, but I found a disadvantage with regard to the service on the beach. It was not told me that it was only available until 12:00 the next day. This detail was revealed by the bathroom, which told me that I should have paid for half a day if I wanted to stay on the beach until 16:00, when I had to leave the building.
Room and cleaning:
The room was quite small and I noticed that the windows were dirty, which did not make a good impression when I arrived.
Frokost:
The breakfast was in the average and, although I had no alternatives available, I found it good enough to start the day.
Price:
Finally, the price I paid for one night seemed rather high compared to the services offered, especially since I was looking for a more accessible stay.
In conclusion, the Continental Hotel has a good potential thanks to its location, but there are aspects that require significant improvements to justify the price and expectations of a 4-star hotel. I hope that management will take these suggestions into account in order to provide better experience in the future.
