AAnonymous UserA bit old building and room but with nice equipment and good view from the window (I can see the tower from the window in my room — fantastic). Good location with literally only a few minutes walk from the central railway station. And unexpectedly brilliant breakfast with fantastic dessert.

MmybambamThe single room itself was very spacious. There is plenty of floor space in both the bedrooms and bathrooms. The bed was average, but acceptable. The wireless internet is fast and good, and the TV is big enough. The staff are cool but efficient.

GGuest UserFixed list breakfast from the cafe: croissant, double toast fillet with cheese and ham, fruit, juice & tea or coffee. Nice room but only one chair, fridge. We couldn’t get AC working but kept window open as it was spring time and not hot out. Show closet should be repaired as one door was difficult to operate and shower handle not able to fix in place but needed to keep in hand all time. Very nice personnel. Sometimes busy in the cafe as many locals use it as well.

GGuest UserGreat location and wonderful service! Hotel Maria is perfectly situated just a short walk from the main train station, making arrival and departure seamless. The room itself was comfortable, and the attached bathroom was spacious and equipped with a bathtub. There was a minor oversight when I first arrived, as a towel hadn't been set out in the room. The staff handled it flawlessly, they were very attentive and brought one up immediately when asked.

CCookieChunHaving read mixed reviews on this hotel, i decided to give it a go as the price was reasonable for a large hotel with nice pool. Upon arrival, the front staff was fantastic, polite and helpful. We got upgraded to a larger room with balcony. The room was quite simple but clean. We had to request for slippers and toothbrushes as it is not provided unless you ask. We were extremely disappointed that the pool was closed even though it was 21°C and the sun was blazing hot. I chose this hotel so we could chill by the pool on the first day but obviously that didn't happen. The pool area was not maintained well maybe because of winter just before. It states in the website, there are two restaurants and bar but there was only one restaurant called Lumen. We went there the first night, the starters were excellent but the mains were very mediocre. The spaghetti was horrible, very soggy. Paying €150 for a meal for 3 if us was not really worth it as the mains were not good at all, and we had one dessert to share. Breakfast was not great, hot food option was not that nice. The bakery items were good though.
Overall, it was okay... esp for that price. Location is close to Pisa Tower (15mins walk) and 7 mins ride to Pisa Centrale Stazione. Taximove app is very reliable and we used it to get to station and airport at reasonable prices.

GGuest UserA lovely hotel in a perfect location. It's right in the middle, between the old and new parts of the city, with everything within walking distance. The breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly. The only downsides were that the air conditioning was very noisy and the hotel itself was quite thin-walled. But apart from that, we had a great stay.

Ppaolo roatI stayed at the Continental Hotel for a night on August 16 and found my mixed experience. Although it is a 4-star hotel, I noticed some areas that could benefit from a restructuring.
Position and services:
The hotel's location is certainly a favourable point, being directly on the sea and equipped with a large pool, but I found a disadvantage with regard to the service on the beach. It was not told me that it was only available until 12:00 the next day. This detail was revealed by the bathroom, which told me that I should have paid for half a day if I wanted to stay on the beach until 16:00, when I had to leave the building.
Room and cleaning:
The room was quite small and I noticed that the windows were dirty, which did not make a good impression when I arrived.
Frokost:
The breakfast was in the average and, although I had no alternatives available, I found it good enough to start the day.
Price:
Finally, the price I paid for one night seemed rather high compared to the services offered, especially since I was looking for a more accessible stay.
In conclusion, the Continental Hotel has a good potential thanks to its location, but there are aspects that require significant improvements to justify the price and expectations of a 4-star hotel. I hope that management will take these suggestions into account in order to provide better experience in the future.

GGuest UserThe hotel is quite large, which allowed me to have a very quiet night. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. Although the decor isn't brand new, all the necessary comforts are there.
The only downside is the location: the hotel is only a few minutes from the airport by car, which is convenient, but there's no safe pedestrian path to get there. So, I had to take a taxi (€25) for the ride (a 5-minute drive).
A little tip: if you don't have luggage, a scooter could be a good option to easily reach the airport.
