I had to cancel my hotel about a week in advance due to a sudden change in plans. (Things I could not help) they refused to refund me my deposit even though I wasn’t even in the same city that weekend.

Great cost-effective hotel in the North Shore. It is conveniently located near restaurants and the stadium.

Upon our first day. We noticed that we had a whole bunch of holes and rips in our sheets. Yellow stains on the pillows that were in the closet. I asked the lady at the front desk to change our blankets. She grabbed the walkie-talkie and said she would. We came back, super late to see no blankets were even placed in our room or anything was changed. Our water was cold. So we had to let the water run for like five minutes before even got hot to take a shower. And the second day, it did not get hot at all. The breakfast was OK. The pool was not working but you could go to the sister hotel across the parking lot. Parking was so limited people had to park around the circle in the front. The staff was friendly, but obviously didn’t care about my concerns. The room was nice. I will go back to this hotel but maybe not this location.

Great Property, great location, friendly staff. If I had to pick something out that I hope could’ve gone differently was for there to be an option to pay for the nights I’d be using the overnight parking when booking to make the process that much smoother.

The pool was closed was the only problem I had. The hotel was very nice and clean and staff was friendly.

I have been a loyal Marriot customer for over 20 years but I am really rethinking this. I needed to cancel my reservation due to a serious family emergency. The reservation rules were to cancel by 1159p two days prior. I called as soon as I found out I needed to cancel which was the next morning at 8am. I was told by the person answering that she would cancel my reservation with NO penalty or charges. She was very kind. The hotel charged my credit card. I called the hotel and spoke with someone at the desk and she said she would ask the manager and see what they could do. A few days later the charge was still there. So I called the hotel and left a VM for the hotel manager and explained the situation and how I was told they would cancel me with no charges and never received a call back and the charge is still there. I know that the hotel can choose NOT to charge my card and I understand this is a policy but the fact an employee gave a promise and didn't follow through is NOT ok with me.
