Very average hotel. It was once one of the most luxurious hotels in Pittsburgh, but it's been in serious decline. There was almost no service, the phone in the room didn't work (you had to go downstairs to get room service), and the cleanliness was average (there were even stains on the sheets).
The shops and restaurants inside the hotel are almost closed. It snowed heavily when we checked in, and we couldn't go out during the day. As a result, there was no food in such a big hotel (only one bar was still open)!
Finally, due to the overall design of this hotel, almost all the windows in the basic room types are inward facing (the window is opposite a wall), which makes it a bit claustrophobic.

Pittsburgh's historic hotel was built in 1961. The room looks like an old star hotel. I like the lighting. It's very comfortable to lie down and rest at night. The location of the hotel is also good! The front desk service is a bit poor, but everything else is good! The people at the VALET parking service are very nice, but the hotel doesn’t have slippers or toothbrushes or toothpaste.

The location of awesome. But room itself is outdated. Wall sealing are starting to come off. Amenities are fully functional though. We asked for extra body lotion but took them more than 30minutes to respond. We ended up bumping into house keeping in the corridors and asked for them there.

Nice place. 4 minutes from the subway station. Parking garage right in front of it ($8 per day on the weekend). A few homeless people West of it toward the culture district.
Nice room although the bathroom sink was a little small.

We absolutely LOVED this hotel!! Our room was PERFECT and very lovely. From the complementary water to the very cozy bathrobe, it was just great! The bed was soooo comfortable!! The hotel is just gorgeous and the front desk ladies and the valet were very, very friendly. In the heart of the city but still easy to get around. Honestly, you canNOT go wrong here and I wish we would’ve stayed longer just to explore more of the hotel alone!!

This is my second stay at Omni William Penn. It is a great hotel in a fantastic location downtown. We went for a girls weekend to celebrate our friendship of one year. The Speakeasy was great and the drinks were strong (in the best way). Staff (front desk, valet, housekeeping and bellhop/porter) were all amazing. Room was large enough to fit all of us, our stuff and still have room to walk around/sit. All of us raved about the shower pressure as it was like a free massage. 10/10 recommend staying here. We will definitely be back!
