Caribbean Beach Cabanas - A Pur Hotel

This place was wonderful. After 4 nights in the jungle it was wonderful to have extra amenities and air conditioning. Pam and Michelle were so helpful getting tours (and flights) booked and giving us recommendations. We did a day of snorkeling, massages on the beach, and a sunset catamaran. The place was beautiful with a pool and the ocean right there. There are plenty of chairs and a bar at the pool. They also had bikes and kayaks to take out. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful beach setting, comfy beds, amazingly helpful and kind staff, particularly Michelle, Sende, Pam, Justino and Domingo. Bikes and kayaks for the taking, hammocks and rooftop views everywhere. Outdoor (and indoor) showers. Perfectly situated in town, walkable to everything, right on the colorful Placencia car-free sidewalk. Very relaxing vibe!!

What a lovely place to vacation. Everything about it was delightful: the tastefully decorated rooms, the pool and bar area, and the wonderfully useable beach and ocean. Our travel group of 12 people arrived all at once and we were settled into our rooms seamlessly. Pam was incredible— booking our tickets from Belize City to Placencia, trouble shooting issues with our diving tour, and a fountain of information on what to do and where to eat— always with a smile. The staff was cheerful and ready to help. The breakfasts were delivered hot and on time. This was our second time staying here and we will be back!

We spent 8 nights in February here. It was our first trip to Belize and we left well rested, with lots of beautiful memories. Caribbean Beach Cabanas is not a fancy place. It’s a very cute place that has everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation. The beach is beautiful and not very busy at all. Sometimes it feels almost private. We loved it so much that we hardly left this beach during our stay. We did a lot of swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, etc. Location is perfect! We walked to all the restaurants, fruit stands, etc. We had our breakfast and lunch at CBC. Breakfast that was included could be a little better. It would be nice to have more fruits and less pastries/bread. Hopefully there will be more variety in the future as well. Everything else we ordered was fresh and delicious. Good burritos, tacos, chicken wraps! What makes CBC and Placencia special-is the people. Everyone is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. This is something that makes you want to come back. All the staff at CBC is absolutely amazing! Thank you to all of you for your hard work! If you look for a quiet and beautiful beach and for complete relaxation- CBC is the place for you. We stayed at El Sol cabana. It was a cute little place that had everything we needed.It was very nice to have a small kitchen as well. Everything was nice and clean. We would highly recommend CBC if you come to Placencia.

What a perfect place to stay in Placencia. Directly on the sidewalk but still quiet and right on the beach! We are so happy with our stay here. We had amazing service from the moment we made the reservation at CBC. The team quickly answered questions and gave us all the information we needed. We heard from the team welcoming us a few days before our check-in. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and in paradise. The property is really cute; the rooms are little houses/bungalows. We stayed in La Casa, which was fantastic. We had a full kitchen (not all the rooms have a full kitchen), a lovely outside sitting area, and every amenity we could need. When we arrived, we were greeted with a delicious rum punch and were given a tour of the property and an overview of everything in the room to ensure we knew all the great details! It seems like the folks that stay here are like minded as the other guests we met became fast friends that were fun to share a drink with and beach/pool time with. We spent lots of time at the beach, lots of time at the pool, lots of time at the bar. Everything is immaculate and the small but mighty staff took care of all of our needs. While the property and rooms were fantastic, the best part was the people that work at the hotel. So many unique personality and backgrounds, but everyone was kind, warm, and welcoming - treated us like family! Thank you, Michelle, Dahlia, Domingo, Justino, Emir, Pamela, and everyone (I know I'm forgetting someone(s), sorry . A couple of suggestions for folks staying - get the morning breakfast prepared by the hotel. The food is AMAZING - AMAZING! I loved the breakfast tacos and burrito (and the special snack they made me - so kind!). Also, borrow the bikes that are available - it's fun to ride into town or the 2.5 mile ride to The Barge (brewery). Biking was a great way to see the town at a slow pace. Take some time to sit at the bar and have a drink - great cocktails (and fresh juices) and even better conversation. If you're a soccer / futbol fan, they'll have the games on for sure! We loved our stay at CBC and would love to stay there again! Thank you

A really great place which is made extra special by the fantastic staff who couldn't be more helpful. Drinks with Domingo in his bar in the afternoon were really relaxing but Pamela in the front office assisted by Michelle were really helpful with advice and making reservations. The location is superb, quiet but not too far from all the great restaurants and bars of Placencia and right on a beautiful peaceful beach

As others have said this is a fantastic unusual place with superb staff. So nice to stay on the beach and not feel you are in a sterile hotel environment. It’s feels very authentic being able to just walk along the beach or side walk, or even the road down into the village with all its bars and restaurants. Great bar and barman on site as well. This was booked by travel agents for us but the ones actually on the beach are by far the best to go for, as you are coming here to be on the beach.

Caribbean Beach Cabanas made our vacation extra special. The staff is warm and accommodating. Special shoutout to bartender Domingo—your man for a great drink and better conversation. We stayed in La Hacienda. It was the perfect space for my mom, my partner and me. We loved eating breakfast on the veranda overlooking the pool and relaxing in the hammock in the “crow’s nest.” The welcome basket in the room was also a generous touch. The resort itself is not only lovely but nearby to many delicious eateries and bars. We highly recommend booking here.

I am long overdue for writing our review, but I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to express how much we loved staying at CBC. My husband and I stayed in Sol Cabana in May of 2023 for seven nights and absolutely loved it. The accommodation was exactly as pictured and the property itself felt like a private oasis. Some of the highlights included the best breakfasts (the breakfast tacos are AMAZING), I loved reading in the hammock every morning, we retreated to the pool and bar area in the afternoon for custom crafted cocktails, and the staff was wonderful. The staff is the biggest reason we enjoyed staying at CBC. Everyone knew us by name and went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We want to give a big shout out to Imer, Lucas, Lea, Jasmine and Justino for being so great!
