Went there with my 1,5 year old daughter, my mom and my aunt in May. I just want to give a shout out to Tsvetti who worked with kids activities. She was great with my daughter and they liked each other a lot 😀 The play room inside as well as the play ground was amazing. The kids pool was a bit dangerous and a little deep for small kids, would have been better if it was more shallow and would deeper in one end maybe. They also had a kids disco every night but it was late and my daughter would be asleep then, which was too bad, she would have loved it.

Good clean family hotel. Some family rooms are small and depending on where u are located on the resort, can feel a bit stuck in a corner. We asked to move rooms after 4 days of our holiday as the balconies were almost unusable and looking straight into a cliff face. The staff were very helpful and moved us to a larger room with a sea Veiw which was excellent. Food was pretty standard as All inc/half board hotels go. We were half board and it’s worth noting that u have to pay additional for the use of the water park €10 each per day and €40 for 1 hour tennis court hire. These are free under All inclusive option. Entertainment was basic with a few games around the pool during the day for the kids and a game of bingo or a quiz on the night over the road at the spa hotel. Service at the bar is very very slow with just 1 member of staff making cocktails for AI guests so long waits if u pop in to get a beer when you’re not AI. The area itself is nice and it’s worth a walk up the hill to the war museum which is interesting and great view from up there too. Easy 20 minute bus ride into Chania, we also hired a car and toured the areas beeches which was cheap through the hotel. Local bars and restaurants are good although the road running through town is busy. Beeches are good and good beach bars. No English book exchange in hotel as most guests were Scandinavian, so take plenty if u read a lot

Hotel ogólnie ładny. Obsługa miła i pomocna. Kilka basenów plus możliwość korzystania z basenów w hotelu sąsiadującym tej samej marki. Super aquapark i zjeżdżalnie. Jedzenie różnorodne i smaczne.

Nice hotel, nice food, although repetitive especially lunch time. Need chips on snackbar too. Staff in restaurant lovely and friendly, can't say much about the rest. Jet2 falsely advising on there website saying daily and evening entertainment but there is none what so ever at this hotel. It is in their sister hotel across the road. Abit disappointing as only kids mini disco 6days a week for around 45mins. Need more staff on pool bar as only one person on and que for ages for a drink!! Staff take their time, dither about. No-one to collect glasses from tables. Lots of smokers in this hotel during our stay which don't agree with. Your aloud to smoke everywhere in this hotel except indoor restaurant. Not good. Day of check out the hotel wouldn't allow us to pay and keep our room on as our collection transfer time was 9.30pm. We had to check out 12 noon and the lady on reception wanted to cut our all inclusive wrist bands off. This was our 7th day at hotel meaning all inclusive has been paid for and should be allowed until departure from the hotel. We refused at first and the lady chased us around trying to cut our bands off!!! 😡🤬

Hotel godny polecenia.

Even the apar**ent was perfect. 2 real bedrooms, 3 balconies and a fantastic view. The staff at the reception were ok helpful but the rest of the staff and especially those in the restaurant area seemed like they didn't want to work at all. The hotel's policy is that you may not reserve sunbeds by the pool. BUT at 6:45/7:00 in the morning everything was reserved with towels or by people who were lying there themselves to be sure of getting a place for the rest of the day. Even the pool area is miserable, again room to walk around the pool because people are so close to the water. So if you wanted a relaxed holiday, forget this place. A bit sad because the area is nice, looks cozy and is well located... in the end, does not live up to the 5 star hotel at all...

Just got back from a week at the Porto Platanias village resort . The hotel is very modern and overall a very good hotel , staff are lovely , rooms cleaned daily etc etc , the only real downsides to this place is the pool is freezing , the food is very good but a little samey which is pretty typical of this type of resort. We went as a family of 9 which two buggies and a wheel chair for my 83 year old dad who has difficulty walking , we found the paths very uncomfortable especially for my dad , the place is stunning and so are the paths but just not flat enough for a wheelchair or prams . Saying that the paths around the area of platanias are awful for wheelchair users and my dad injured his foot on a ridiculous part of the path . There are several large holes that we dangerous for everyone . Overall a great holiday .
