Cretan Dream Royal

Great hotel. So nice to be so close to the ocean. Also, breakfast is very good.

The food was superb !!!

I have just returned from a visit to the Cretan Dream Resort & Spa, it was fantastic from the moment we arrived at 2.00 am the owner Petros (Peter) met us at reception and had us booked in very quickly, gave the four of us an ice cold bottle of water and informed us that a meal had been arranged upstairs for us while they took our cases to the rooms which after a late flight was very much appreciated and put us all at our ease. Our Room had a great view looking out over the sea and the town of Stalos and after a great nights sleep in a really comfortable bed and room we got up showered and went down to Breakfast, the selection of food was tremendous and the quality was outstanding my congratulations to George the head chef the standard was maintained for whole holiday and the offering changed each day so there was always something new to try along with all my favorites. Nothing was to much trouble to the staff and would i like to mention Tula, Christine and Stelios and they after the four of us all week, I am a keen fisherman and Christine gave me great tips on the best spots to try. Lunch and the evening meals were exceptional the quality of the food and service was wonderful, i have to congratulate Manolis the Maitre De on a great team as i am not easy to please being a finicky eater and they bent over backwards to accomodate me, in particular Anastasia, Tula, Christine, The wine advice from Manolis and Anastasia was very much appreciated as i had never had Greek wine before great quality. The Bar service and pool side service was superb from Ricardo, Manolis (Barman) and Maria from all of them a freindly smile and chat. Lastly the reception and Guest services nothing was to much trouble for the Poli in the shop was great as well as Christine main reception and Yiannis for everything else. I feel the Quality of the Hotel all stems from Petros the owner whose friendliness and professionalism is infectious and fuels the staff.

5 stars out of 5 is not enough bacause of the great people working there ! And the hotel food was one of the best we had in the entire trip. Would come here again every year if I could

Maria (pool bar) and the staff are so friendly absolute credit to your company. Fabulous cocktails. Very reasonably priced for a hotel. Paulina / Alina in the spa absolutely perfect we both had a massage and these girls were amazing. Thank you Constructive comment about the breakfast it’s great loads of choice but could you not put cards with what it is and what allergens are in whether it’s veggie etc. every customer is lifting the serving containers of every one. Caught the bus for 2€ into Chania each night quite easy. Spotlessly clean.

Exceptional customer service from bottom to top. We were made to feel like family from the moment we stepped onto the property. The resort is clean and comfortable. Very picturesque and inviting. Close to Old Town and bus service. I would recommend this resort to anyone. We will be back for sure.

We normally do 4* all inclusive but wanted something with a bit better quality food and environment. We got so much more than expected here! I hadn't realised the food was al a carte in the evenings rather than buffet style (didn't read the blurb properly ) but we absolutely loved every single dish and the plates always went back empty! The quality of the food was the best we've ever had, anywhere! If you prefer junk food maybe half board wouldn't be for you but if you love fresh cooked, good quality food you'll love it. The buffet breakfast was also top quality and fresh with a great variety. The hotel was spotless and in perfect repair in all areas and the staff friendly and helpful. A smaller hotel than we're used to which we loved. The views were top class although Stalos itself is a bit rough round the edges. My only slight gripe was with the spa which seemed very expensive and you couldn't just use the facilities without having an expensive treatment. Entertainment was laid on one night of our stay (although it is early season). This was a greek night with music, dancing, BBQ and fireworks which was very good. We loved our week despite 2 days of rough weather and will hopefully return next year.
