Was here for the second time and was impressed again: beautiful and clean facility, great breakfast buffet, friendly staff, nice features such as guest gifts and cocktail vouchers.

All aspects of the room should be old. The service is ok, it is not recommended to choose the sea view breakfast provided by them, it is not as good as the buffet breakfast.

Visited Minoa Palace for a week in the end of April. Our room was located in the Imperial part of the hotel. + *service is excellent in all parts of the hotel and they go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. *Large room with comfortable bed, minibar, bathtub, shower and balcony. *fantastic breakfast with something for everyone *clean and well maintained The only negative thing was that the air conditioner in the hotel was set to heating this time of year which made the rooms very warm during the night, from what I heard this was going to be changed the same say we left. Platanias itself might not be my dream vacation spot but Minoa Palace would make it worth going back. Thanks for a relaxing week!

Amazing, fabulous, mind blowing and just perfect. From the unbelievably wonderfully attentive staff, the hugely talented chefs to the hotel position and landscape. There is a private beach, terraced sunbathing and sunbed waiter service, no matter where your sunbed is.

Wonderful hotel! The breakfasts are perhaps the best in the history of my past travels. Smiling staff. High-quality room cleaning. Large area with several outdoor swimming pools. Including a free indoor heated swimming pool with Jacuzzi. Free parking near the hotel. Private beach. Cozy cafe overlooking the sea. This was our first trip to Greece and we have such warm memories of this country thanks, among other things, to this hotel. Thank you! We'll be back.

Although it was off-peak season, the number of accommodations was quite high. But it was okay because it was large and comfortable. It was a little far from Chania, so I rented a car. There was a small commercial area right nearby, so it was nice to look around. Overall, it was a very satisfactory trip, but when I looked at the receipt later, I saw that my country information was written in a different country. Even though I filled out the check-in card correctly. That part was a little disappointing, but overall I was satisfied with all services and facilities. The quality of amenities is also good.

We would absolutely come back here again. We had a lovely time despite being a bit cooler and stormier at the end of September.
On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful, we were shown to a seating area and checked in electronically. We were also given some fizz which always helps. Bags were taken to the room, always good after travelling. We had a few extras in the room on arrival such as a bottle of wine and some snacks. All the staff members, bar one or two, were very friendly, smiley and helpful. One or two were chugging on to the end of the season wishing they were elsewhere but it only showed itself in a slight grumpiness, it was only obvious because everyone else was so nice and smiley. The staff were able to sort issues really quickly and without fuss, greatly appreciated.
The hotel is split between two sides of a road. The way it is built is really clever so you need to take a moment to get your bearings. You will not notice the road on the landward side unless you are by the hedge next to the road. We tried to sit there but moved. Everyone else seemed really happy there though so its probably just me being sound sensitive.
There is a really nice bridge/walkway going from the main reception building to the beach side of the hotel, so you do not need to cross the road. There is a main pool here and we spent most of our time lounging around it.
