Horrible..... it's not a hotel it's a hostel at best. And the staff well there no help either just shrug there shoulders about it. I've told them not happy I want a better room or my money back and they just don't care at all. Just don't even waste your money booking this place. I'll be leaving first thing in the morning it's that's bad 👎

The pool is more used as a family pool and the chilled of the extended family turn up daily using it as their own personal pool. The pushed my children over causing on le to hang her head and have to be treated by a local Dr, When I spoke to the couple they’re demenor changed towards us and they became rude and stand offish. It became uncomfortable as we suddenly were treated as unwelcome Jet2 confirmed that the pool Should be for guests but the family carried on. I wouldn’t mind at all sharing but when we’ve paid a lot of money and these kids are out of control and hurting my children then it becomes a problem. We made the best of it going off site as much as we could but I wouldn’t recommend anywhere where They thing it’s acceptable for 7 and 9 year old girls can be pushed around by young boys in their family :/

Just returned from a weeks holiday at this lovely hotel. From the moment you arrive the family who run the business make you feel welcome and this continued throughout the week. Our family room (number 11) was modern and it benefitted from 3 balconies which meant we could always enjoy the shade. The pool was a good size and there was always plenty of loungers to pick from. The bar/dining area was the hub of the hotel with the family preparing wonderful homemade food and drinks. Gerani village centre is a short walk away with plenty of bars, restaurants and bakeries to pick from. Small Paradise was our favourite restaurant. Overall, this is a great hotel which is down to the wonderful family who run it so well. Highly recommended.

Went here with a friend in July and what a magical place it was. The staff/family were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. They began to know our order and got our bottle of wine (Retsini) cold ready for us prior to us coming for dinner. The accommodation was very family orientated but still suited us even without children.

Apar**ents cleaned daily accept Sundays. Picked a very quiet week, which I loved. The snack bar has a very good selection and good price. Recommend the pizza, only 7 euros. Everyone very friendly. Plenty of sunbeds and nice pool. Stayed in the maisonette which was lovely, very steep stairs, so not suitable if anyone has mobility issues. Large supermarket to the left but 25 minute walk. Several smaller mini markets closer to the right. Beach not great, stoney. All in all a great week.

I had an enjoyable budget autumn holiday in these friendly studios with a Greek/ German ambience It was well located for walks to the beach, which was quiet and undeveloped in many places, although there are some large hotel complexes. However compared with many other places I've been in Greece, the area is nothing special, except for Chania. There's nice good value wine in the bar. There are also light meals available but there are more filling and better value more filling meals available in the village tavernas such as the Small Paradise. My room at the back was decent with a good patio and good views of vines and fields. However the noise from the nearby motorway was sometimes quite loud. Noise cancelling headphones helped! ( There is no rating available for good which I wanted to select)

First time visit, many of the other guests had been many times, and I now know why! The studio was well furnished and fairly typical for Greece, however, it was cleaned daily and the linen changed every three days. The swimming pool area was really good and we spent a lot of time there, especially as it was so hot and sunny during our late September stay. The pool bar was very good, and the meals probably the best and most consistently good in Gerani. Daily specials always interesting, usually traditional Cretan. The Studios are about half a mile from Gerani centre, and a similar distance from the beach. The beach goes on for miles, ranging from sandy to pebbles, to the west is the resort of Meleme, which has a promenade/ road along the sea front, Gerani has quite a few seafront hotels and apar**ent blocks spread along the sea but no seafront road, just linking side roads to each hotel. It was okay, but nothing special, so I mainly swam and sunbathed at the studio's pool, especially as refreshments were so readily available. Gerani village centre had four tavernas and a pizza house, tried all and, strangely, found the first meal really good, but then found the second visit disappointing, with the exception of the Tassos taverna, which I would recommend. Favourite coffee shop was the little place next to the war memorial, halfway between the Studios and the village, lovely capuchino, but don't let the dog scare you!! Overall, Pardalakis and Gerani were better than I expected and excellent value for money.

We stayed here end of August, start of September for two weeks. This is an amazing family run business. Sat in gardens full of fruit trees and olive trees. Everyone was so accommodating and we felt so relaxed and happy as soon as we arrived. We can understand why people keep returning here and will definitely come back here in the future.
