Banyan Tree Mayakoba

Amazing Balinese massage with just the perfect medium pressure. Beautiful room, love the essential oils, nice rose petal wash & feet scrub, and freshly made ginger tea & treats at the end. Happy my masseuse was very attentive and I walked away feeling relaxed, less neck & shoulder pain. The experience was so worth it!

Wowo wowo!!! I have had such an amazing experience in the Banyan Tree. Our concierge Juan was Fantastic providing us with the every service one can just imagine. Thus was totly beyond expectations!! Kiddos to you Juan for providing us with service Par Excellence!!

We enjoyed out stay at Banyan Tree! We had a good interaction with Emmanuel and Eduardo as they were great attentive to us when we were there and catered to our needs. The service, food and staff were exceptional! Every single staff member was very attentive to our needs! We really enjoyed the spa services too We will be back soon!!

It's a beautiful resort with excellent service. We stayed in one of the new oceanfront villas and I HIGHLY recommend the new villas over one that hasn't yet been renovated. The pictures don't lie - our room was very spacious, the views were spectacular, the furnishing were top notch. It was one of the few hotels where I really wanted to spend time in the room. We took a boat ride to Saffron at sunset and it was magical. Highly recommend. We split our lounging time between the ocean and the main pool by the big lobby. We actually ended up like the quiet tranquility of the main pool better. There were a fair number of young kids playing in the ocean front pool (I like kids, but we had left ours home) so the big pool was more relaxing. It's a different vibe. We ate breakfast everyday at the ocean front restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. Lunch was good but not as noteworthy as breakfast. Also, unfortunately it was extremely windy our first couple of days and the ocean was rough. So the rougher seas combined with the sea**** (which is just such a sad problem facing Mexico and other islands), we didn't swim in the ocean. It didn't take away from our trip but I wish we had been there when the wind was calmer and ocean more gentle. We absolutely loved Mayakoba - the people, the food, the biking and focus on nature all make it a very special place.

We just returned from the most wonderful vacation at Banyan Tree. We were greeted by Juan, who was our concierge for the 5 nights we spent there. He took such amazing care of us, walking us through our property, helping with dinner reservations, making sure we has water and everything we needed in our villa. I’m sure all of the concierge staff is wonderful, but we felt so lucky to have Juan. This place is the perfect blend of relaxation and activity. You could spend the entire vacation on a beach chair or you could be up and out all day. We had a blast on a kayak tour of the cenotes with Miguel and we rode a catamaran with Edwin. Please go to the spa and do the rainforest experience. If you can reserve a private experience there, it’s an incredible to start the vacation. A beautiful guided experience. Sendy, Olga and Andrea gave us the best morning, and we felt so relaxed and pampered. The food at all of the restaurants was really great. We loved having breakfast at Sands every morning. We rode our bikes and they have gorgeous food. Food is pricey at all of the restaurants, but that’s to be expected. If you want a really delicious lunch, do to La Fondita and have a tostada. Go to La Copa and have Oscar make you a red berry gin and tonic. Please! My husband and I don’t have kids, but it seemed like all the kids there were having an amazing time. I can’t recommend this property enough.

Amazing resort, staff are super helpful and friendly, going out of their way to help in any and every way possible. Resort allows complete relaxation and service and amenities are top notch
