Although I haven't done many all-inclusive resorts, (this is only my 3rd) this is by far the nicest I've been to. Staff go above and beyond, the food is excellent, place is immaculate, feels like it was built yesterday. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, great value for the money IMHO. Some things to note: The beaches all have bad sargassum algae blooms in the Caribbean right now so the beach stinks and so does the pool area. Nothing the resort can do about this, blame climate change. Eventually you get used to it. Just keep drinking the limitless cocktails and you'll soon become nose-blind to it. The building has beautiful marble and stone hallways with vaulted ceilings which gives it its charm but also turns it basically into an echo chamber so keep in mind it can get noisy. You hear every door slam, every footstep, every drunken rabble all night long. We needed to get ourselves some earplugs so we could sleep and they did the trick but be warned if you are a light sleeper. The cabana's are well worth the purchase price for the day as the free lounge chairs always get snatched up early and you get a sheltered bed thats way better for cuddling if you are going as a couple AND it comes with a WHOLE bottle of tequila, which costs nearly as much as the cabana does. Did it for two days in a row, highly recommend. The spa was very nice too and did a couples massage, also worth the money. The proximity to a 4km long tourist ***** full of shops and food was fantastic. Would visit again.
