Beautiful property in top, top condition. Staff all spoke English and super helpful. Their attention to detail was greatly appreciated from the initial greeting to departure. Our personal concierge really took good care of us. We just sent her a text and "it" was done.

Todo fue maravilloso, la atencion de todos los colaboradores fue muy buena y Carolina Collado fue excelente nos apoyo mucho! Lo unico fue que los mapaches asaltaron el carrito de room service en el balcón en la madrugada y no fueron a recogerlo cuando ya se habia informado 2 veces por el telefono, hasta que bajamos a front desk a reportarlo nos ayudaron Fuera de eso todo lo demas fabuloso

This place has it all! The staff are excellent and so welcoming, the pools are perfect and the food is the best we have ever had. Huge shout of to our concierge Carolina for making sure every need was met! Thank you Carolina and the entire Velas family for a great get away! We will be back for sure.

This was my wife and my second trip to Grand Velas Riviera Maya, and it likely will not be our last; the vacation was outstanding! The property is beautiful, has great floral landscapes, the pools are big, well maintained, and pretty, the beaches and views are stunning with three different colors of ocean water (see attached pictures). The rooms in the Grand Class are big, well appointed and have breathtaking views of the Ocean. The staff is attentive and very helpful with any request one can imagine. Although each suite has a personal concierge, anyone asked would help with anything you need. Still, our concierge, Rosario F was tops. She was helpful, attentive, proactive in determining our desire, smiling and wanting to make our stay great, and she did! The restaurants were amazing. At the high end places (Cocina de Autor, Piaf, Lucca, and Bistro) dinner and drinks could easily cost $100 per person. At Cocina and Piaf, they would likely be much more. The food is great, the flavor's explode off the plate, the service is top flight, and the drinks are high end (the bars have good scotch like Macallan 12 & Balvenie, bourbon such as Elijah Craig & Woodford, and of course great Tequila). Each restaurant is different and all are exceptional. The pool/swim up bars are fun and the poolside service is outstanding. The spa gave us the best 80 min massages my wife and I have ever experienced. Professional, deep tissue (really deep) and a calm environment. The water treat was fun as well. Although it's not a cheap resort, it is luxurious and sophisticated.

I have travelled to this resort numerous times; most recently for 6 days in November, 2023. On this most recent trip, I had just had a medical procedure, and I was very limited in what I could eat. Although I stayed in the Zen Resort, I travelled to the Bistro Restaurant in Grand Class for breakfast and lunch every day. When I told the staff at Bistro about my dietary restrictions, they happily made me special off-menu meals every day for my entire stay. Special thanks to Claudio (manager); Karina (hostess); and waiters Francisco, Fernando, Jose, Edgar, Isaac and David. You guys really made my trip!!

The place was sparkling clean, comfortable, and relaxing! The entire staff was more than accommodating, friendly, and eager to assist with anything. I am very, very, very impressed with how clean and well-maintained it was for such a large space, seeing so many visitors. The food was ok, everyone found something they liked. Super fancy, beautiful presentation, took a long time. Azul and the pool/beach food were our favorites (shrimp tacos!) Nora was our concierge, and she was fabulous! Really everyone was so accommodating.

I have stayed at many all inclusive resorts and grand velas is by far, the best. Service is wonderful with staff eager to assist and find ways to make your stay special. The food is truly wonderful. It’s inventive and tasty with many options at each restaurant. The resort is gorgeous and clean and the pool is beautiful. We truly loved every minute.

The most beautiful room overlooking the ocean. Service was first class. Thank you Rosario for taking care of us during our stay. If you are traveling with adults only I recommend staying in the adults only section. We look forward to coming back again!
