I cannot express in words how amazing my stay was. The service was AMAZING. Every person I interacted with provided incredible service that made us feel special. We were only there four days, and the bartenders already started to recognize us and our orders. The rooms were very clean and spacious. There was no bath, but the shower was a great size. The only weird thing was it didn't have a closing door, so water kinda went astray. The water pressure could have been better. The food was so delicious! The buffet provided great variety, and there were very few things that I tried that I didn't like (mainly on American night). The desserts especially were out of this world. We also tried the Italian and Mayan restaurants. The Italian was better in my opinion, but they were both very good. The app has the menus; I would check before you choose because you only get so many reservations. The snack bar was also very good. Hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, and a changing assortment of other snacks. The buffet wasn't open 24/7, but whenever the buffet was closed, the snack bar was open. So you had 24/7 access to food and drinks. We didn't experience any stomachaches during our stay. The beach was beautiful. It did accumulate some seaweed towards the end of the day, but they did a good job cleaning it up. We headed over to the Maya. It was much bigger and had more activities. We enjoyed the Azteca, though, because it seemed to be less busy. They provided us with a beautiful Mayan calendar as a welcome gift. They did invite us to a timeshare presentation. We attended, and ended up purchasing as our stay was so amazing and the package was a good deal. All of their sales tactics were very low pressure, though. They do have benefits for members only such as premium alcohols in the bars, unlimited specialty dining, a special section of seating on the beach, and discounts at the spa. Even without this, though, I would say the resort is well worth what you pay for it. We are excited to come back in the future!
