Een prachtig kleinschalig hotel in het centrum van de toeristische buurt! Eenmaal binnen waan je in een oase van rust! Mooie en ruime kamers. Een mooi en gezellig zwembad. Ontbijt in het aangelegen restaurant was lekker maar eenvoudig. AANRADER

Lovely people - great staff. Real bad problems with getting hot water (takes 10 minutes easily), and the daily hydrotherapy we paid for in our packages were sold out for half the days we were there. Nice buffet. Further from the beach than it seems on the map.

This was a perfectly convenient area in the heart of Playa - right next to all the popular shopping and dining areas. While the area can go on all night, inside the hotel is very serene, private, and super relaxing. The beds were super comfy, the pool was very relaxing, we did the hydrotherapy, and the buffet breakfast that comes with it (from the attached Brazillian restaurant) was amazing. If we go back to Play, we will stay here again.

I appreciate the opportunity to share my feedback. However, I found the quality-price relationship of the hotel to be unsatisfactory. The room was noisy and uncomfortable, which impacted my overall experience negatively.

Nach einem 16,5 Std. Flug mit der schrecklich- windigen AirEuropa(sehr ausbaufähig, dennoch NIE wider) wurden wir um 2.15am Ortszeit sehr freundlich empfangen und bekamen sofort was zu trinken!!! Das Frühstück ist reichhaltigen, as Personal sehr freundlich und' s Zimmermädchen macht einen sehr guten Job! Der Pool und Whirlpool ist ok, die Cocktails sehr schmackhaft; auch während der HappyHour!!! Gehen Sie vor die Türe, haben Sie unzählige Bars, Malls und int. Essmöglichkeiten in allen Preislagen. Trotz alledem ist der Lärmpegel in der Anlage nicht erwähnswert hoch. Zum Strand sind es etwa 10min. zu Fuss! Sehr empfehlenswert auch im Bezug auf Preis- Leistung und es ist ausnahmslos für Erwachsene!!! Jederzeit wider👍

Quaint, adults only hotel with very comfortable beds, block from 5th Avenue...someone took our hotel pool towels from our pool chairs and we were charged $70.00 for them even though we were told we had the old towels that were not numbered. High price for old, very worn towels.

The atmosphere and feel at this hotel is great. It is very peaceful and relaxing, having a centralized pool surrounded by bungalows which all had hammocks and amazing amount of green space, grass, shrubbery, and palm trees. The room was good, except the toilet had a hard time flushing and hot water in the shower wasnt very hot. The breakfast included was resort buffet quality. The surrounding area did not seem overly noisy for being located on the main *****.
Didnt like the checkout when they said that one of the face cloths was missing and charge us 30 pesos for it. Probably maid forgot to restock it and left us holding the bill. Don't understand why they need to accuse use of loosing it and charge us $2.75 CAD, when i just spent $650.00 on three nights stay. I tried to tell them to take it out of the tips that I had left them daily and they said that those were for the maid. Accusing you're guests of stealing is bad for business.

This is our second time staying at Magic Blue. Great location and close to 5th avenue. Rooms are very clean and adequate. It’s a smaller hotel and the rooms all face the central pool and garden. There’s enough trees to create some privacy on the balconies especially the upper level. The hot water for the shower is slow to warm up. Like really slow. It can be noisy at night but hey, it’s playa del Carmen and close to the night life.
