HM Playa del Carmen

The cleanliness of this hotel is terrible. They don't clean their linens and pillow cases and smelled bad and disgusting. They dont clean the room as well. The towels were just hanging on the wall. I called front desk multiple times to changes all linens and nobody answered the phone. So, i called the Hopper agency to ask if i can leave this hotel and switch to different hotel. Agent called the hotel to request but she said that they were not answering. I called the room service again around 9 p.m. and requested changing bedding sheets and pillows everything because they smelled disgusting but, they brought only one pillow case. I asked them to smell pillows and linen. A helper guy said that they smelled no good and changed pillows. I couldn’t sleep well because i was uncomfortable to sleep. When i woke up next day, i got the bed bug bites and my skin is very itchy. I complained to the front desk next day and talked with supervisor and showed my skin. I told him I want to see the Dr.. When Dr came to see my skin, she said not to go into water b/c it can make my skin worse and complicated. The supervisor said that send him the picture of skin for refund. I send the picture but he never responded it back. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed. I WASTED MY TIME AND MONEY. DON'T STAY THIS HOTEL. I would rather spend more money to stay at the other hotel.

Great location, but far enough from the action that it’s quiet. Great stay at HM Playa, with an excellent breakfast Buffett! Will definitely book here again!

Very friendly staff & clean.

Great hotel near everything. I had a room with a balcony which I loved. It was clean and neat. Has a parking lot, big pool with lots of trees surrounding it. What I didn’t like? The cocktails by the pool. The mixture tasted very artificial and very low alcohol. I ask the bartender if he could fix it and he said no because he was being watched from the cámaras.
