For this budget price I just hope for clean and safe. However the room’s door handle was loose and barely locked, felt very insecure. Mattresses had plastic covering under sheets so very hot. Housekeeping did not service the room but took away all the towels (which were hung up, not on floor) and refused to replace them unless they were tipped. Fridge in room very noisy. Generally, the room and hotel smelled like mildew/mould.

Excellent location, very convenient due to its proximity to the two bus stations, supermarkets, restaurants, beach. It has a small refrigerator in the rooms.
The only detail is the pool water, they could improve that detail to be 100%.

🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴 OF THE TIMES I'VE COME TO THE BEACH AND I HAVE STAYED I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY MISCAPE TODAY IT HAPPENED TO ME WE ARRIVED WITH MY COUSIN AND NIECES TO STAY AT THE Sahara Hotel Playa del Carmen Mexico AT 5pm AND WHEN WE BATHE AND GET READY WE LEFT 7pm IN FRONT OF THE PARK TO SEE Carlo Rivera'S CONCERT AND OOOOHHHHH SURPRISE WE COME BACK FINISHING THE CONCERT AND MY 2 PERFUMES AND ONE OF MY SORBRINA ARE NOT THERE, I LEAVE I GO TO THE RECEPTION GUY AND HE DOESN'T ME HE HELPED WITHOUT ANYTHING HE JUST SAID HIGHLY FOR MY MANAGER TO ARRIVE AT 5AM

The hotel was good, comfortable beds, unfortunately the room did not have a telephone or iron, which are basic, but it did have a microwave oven and minibar, which are not basic. I think that one more outlet may have been functional since there were two of us and we couldn't connect two cell phones at bedtime.

Terrible experience to say the least. First of all the ac wasn’t working in two of our rooms and they wouldn’t give us another room or attempt to fix it. Now the bed sheets were stained and dirty with a very outdated room with a hard mattress. The restrooms looked as if they’ve never cleaned them toilet seat was yellow mirrors were dirty, shower floors were dirty and worst part was the shower head had green/black mold on it. We didn’t last more than a couple hours there due to how unbearable it was. Then to make it worse the lady at the front desk took us saying we wanted to leave and get a refund personal and didn’t want to speak with us no more. Very unprofessional place HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!
