This was a great spot overall. The resort is huge and takes a few days to get acquainted. We stayed at the family club and had a swim up suite which is perfect for kids. Beach is rocky and lots of sea**** but there are people constantly grooming the beach in the am. We had a day there but honestly preferred the pools this time around. Lots of people selling you stuff but they are respectful if told you aren't interested. I heard a lot of complaints about the food. Maybe we just aren't as picky as some but the main Riviera buffet was amazing with lots of options. The restaurants were decent - the Italian and teppanyaki were our favourites. The BBQ by the Fantasy bar/pool was amazing as was the taco stand by the tequila bar/pool. If you stay at the family club, the ice cream spot is amazing and a huge favourite of my kids. Pools were good with lots of options. The crew working at the pools always have fun adult and kid friendly activities going and are really engaging. The service was great for the most part. This is a HUGE resort so naturally some service experiences were better than others. People were helpful and efficient. Lots of folks working hard to make your stay special especially at the restaurants. We had one concern with our room not feeling the cleanest when we arrived and it was quickly resolved. A few tips- use the shuttle service when you can. This is two resorts in one which means its absolutely massive but more options for pools, restaurants etc but a TON of walking in hot weather. Get the app in advance, book restaurants once you get your room info upon arrival. You will likely not get restaurant bookings on the same day, you get a few days window to book. The app also has a great overview of all the amenities on site and was helpful for finding your way around etc. Also, don't miss the shows! Such great talent and fun for everyone. Overall we loved it here. No place is perfect but It was an amazing experience.
