Room was run down and designer was on somethings when he designed the interior as it's all dark wood floors , shadows and the Red fluorescent lighting doesn't help. The room , on the 1st floor, did not have a fridge, coffee pot or microwave- they had two full towels which had holes in them but no face cloth or had towels nor any drinking glasses of any kind. Needed to speak to check in staff to get another room or at least a fridge and coffee machine. After a day both where found and brought to my room. Room was cleaned each day so that was a bonus and the 3 breakfasts included were a simple fare but appreciated. Overall staff were excellent but hotel was seeing it age and although location was great, I would not come back for another stay.

Well first room toilet doesn’t work second room ac doesn’t wok open bar till 6 pm an no one was there to give me drinks I will prefer book other hotel

Yo viaje a playa con una amiga para una boda y desde que llegamos al hotel la recepcionista fue muy grosera con nosotras, comentando que no podía tendernos hasta las 3 y que nos fuéramos a esperar. El lobby esta super descuidado y sucio, mi amiga casi se cae dos veces porque la madera del piso esta casi rota. La ubicación es excelente y super cerca de todo, la otra cosa buena fue el desayuno porque las chicas fueron super amables y estaba rico. Solo lo recomendaría para personas que van una o dos noches y buscan algo céntrico y barato.

Tenia la curiosidad de tiempo visitar Reina Roja por su publicidad, la cual fue UN FIASCO y DECEPCION!!. Les cuento que al llegar en el área del lobby se presenta un hotel con olor a humedad terrible, en el lobby los muebles con polvo el piso rechinando al pasar porque es de madera, sin ambiente!! después de 15 minutos esperando en el lobby se presentó una chica sin presentación profesional absoluta, como si estuviera saliendo de la cocina de su casa! Te cobran los 300 pesos por persona por el uso de la alberca y tener barra libre. ME LO COBRARON!!! cuando mi check in fue a las 7:00 pm y me dice la Señorita. tienes que pagar los 300 por persona pero ya esta cerrado y mañana entregas la habitación a las 11 am Entonces ni use el bar (por el horario), ni la alberca (porque cerraba a las 8 pm) y pero me hicieron pagarles sus 600 pesos extras al costo de la habitación. MAL!! Bueno, pensamos en que bueno veremos las habitaciones, nos dieron la habitación la cual podría decir que tiene buen espacio. Pero con focos fundidos y las pocas lamparas de techo con una luz toda chillante. subimos a la terraza y conocer el area de la "fiesta" y parecia velorio. Una bocina toda chillante y sin ambiente como para disfrutar como lo venden!! Preferimos irnos a la calle, en ese momento nos queríamos ir !! Les comento que NO ES LO QUE VENDEN!! Estoy segura que alrededor de REINA ROJA hay mejores Hoteles sin necesidad de ver un edificio VIEJO que se esta CAYENDO a pedazos .

Such a nice hotel in Playa Del Carmen. Staff is very friendly. Natalia was great. She helped with everything we needed. Room is unique, sexy and comfortable. Rooftop is such a vibe! Loved the Open Bar on beers. Close to 5th Ave which is close to everything.

Al reservar ******* ofrece “estrictas medidas de seguridad, limpieza e higiene para darle la más segura bienvenida”, hotel con VIP Access, 3.5 estrellas y es todo lo contrario. No existe un control de limpieza en ninguna parte de las instalaciones, las albercas están asquerosas llenas de grasa, basura y hongo, hay basura tirada en el piso por todos lados, los baños son desagradables, sin papel, sin iluminación y con mal olor.
La habitación tenía toallas manchadas, el aire condicionado lleno de polvo y moho, las cortinas rotas y mal colocadas, la silla sin cojín, el minibar sucio, el balcón lleno de basura como si no se hubiera revisado en días, la puerta corrediza no cierra, la manija de la regadera estaba rota y la ducha aún tenía restos de jabón del huésped anterior. Las bebidas que ofrecen aunque tengan costo son de malísima calidad.
A pesar de que cuenta con estacionamiento disponible, en recepción te indican que debes pagar para apartar un espacio (esta es una de las principales razones por las que reservé este hotel y en ningún lugar indica que tiene costo adicional) tanto en su página web como en ******* se indica que el check out es a las 12pm y a las 11 am ya están pidiendo que te retires, adicional a eso al entregar la habitación no te puedes retirar hasta que alguien sube a revisar, nada profesional ese trato al huésped.
Lo único agradable fue el staff de bar en rooftop y la persona que sirve el desayuno, muy amables.
NO LO RECOMENDARÍA A NADIE!
