Having had a fantastic experience in July 2022 for my wife’s birthday at Secrets Moxche (where check-in was a breeze and every restaurant and bar was top-notch), we were excited to celebrate our 5th anniversary at Impressions Moxche (June 8-14th). We had visited this resort in 2022, before Impressions was open, and were eager to see what the hype was about. However, from the moment we booked the trip, to our attempts to check in, our butler experience, and our dining experiences, we were left feeling disappointed. This is Hyatt's top all-inclusive resort brand, but it fell short of our expectations. 1. Booking the Trip We originally booked through the Impressions Website with our travel agent. We found a lower rate on another website a few weeks after booking. So, our travel agent inquired about the Hyatt Best Rate Guarantee with Impressions Moxche. Impressions Moxche said they would not match the price as advertised on the other website. The Impression Moxche price was $1,100.00 more for the total trip. Fortunately, since we used our travel agent, she could use another travel company that would match the other website's price. So, we decided to rebook with the other travel company and still stay at Impressions Moxche. Feel free to message me for the specific details since I can not put certain things in this review, or it will be rejected by Trip Advisor. 2. Arriving at Impression Moxche We arrived at the resort at approximately 10:45 am and sat in line at the resort gate. This was because the front gate was not letting vehicles into the resort. 45 minutes later, we were able to enter the resort and were taken to the hotel's entrance. A Secrets Moxche welcome representative greeted us and took our bags. After finally exiting the SUV, we were glad to return to this resort. Well, that was until it took another 30 minutes of waiting for someone to escort us to the Impressions Building. We even asked if we could walk to the Impressions Building since, we knew where it was located on the property. We were told no. Finally, we were whisked away to the Impression Building by an Impression’s escort who welcomed us. Francisco was new to the position and was fantastic. Once we got inside the Impressions Hotel, we waited another 10-15 minutes. We were able to order drinks at the lobby bar while we waited. We were told we were waiting for a butler to take us to our room to check-in. We were eventually greeted by one of the butlers who would be helping us on the trip. She took us to the room and explained everything to us regarding the room and what services they provide as butlers. We were starving once the check was completed, so we decided to go to the Seaside restaurant. When we left for the restaurant, my wife and I tried the Just-In Mobile app that was supposed to let us in and out of the room. Guess what? The app would not let us unlock the door. So, we had to wait another 15 minutes until the butler reset something to get the phone app to wor
