Wonderful beach opposite with sunbeds, umbrellas and beach bars. Apartment had great terrace overlooking the beach. Very good breakfast delivered to the room (juice, coffee pods, water, bread, butter, jams, cheeses, eggs, meat, fruit) at the time of your choosing. Good pool. All staff very helpful. Galeon Suites is a bit dated, but everything extremely clean and works. Any issues (such as when a shower fixture broke) were sorted out very quickly and without fuss. Very easy to contact Raquel and Aina via email and whatsap. Bus stop to Palma and other areas a few minutes walk away. Pollensa by taxi @€11. Main shops and the market in Puerta Pollensa an easy 15-20 min flat walk along the seafront.

we arrived at hotel to be placed in 2 rooms when i’d booked a 2 bedroom appt , this was extremely difficult to manage as i’d only packed for 1 room . we d also booked bed and breakfast and was expecting a restaurant buffet breakfast as advertised by our holiday company Love Holidays and this site (under amenities) The restaurant was closed and instead we had a small continental breakfast delivered to the room every morning of which we had to do all the washing up . i did not book self catering! There was no spa facilities at all as again notes on this site and advertised by holiday company . of course i discussed all these issues with the manager Raquel by e mail and over the phone as staff at hotel (although very lovely and helpful, spoke very little english) Raquel was rude and argumentative . She offered me another roo 3 days into my holiday which we accepted as it was the 2 bed appt i was expecting and had booked . we ate out several times for breakfast which was a cosy i had not budgeted for. the hotel itself was clean a bit shabby in places in much need of a handy man and repair but the rooms were very spacious , large bathrooms and good bathroom and kitchen . our second room had a lovely sea view balcony . the pool was clean and always chairs available , the Parrot was an added joy the hotel had a very relaxed feel to it x the 3 staff working there were extremely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble the location great 20 min walk to main pollensa 2 great restaurants next door beach lovely clean and 2 chairs and parasol only €15 overall me and my 3 grown up girls had a lovely holiday here, it’s just a same it started off so badly . very disrupted 3 days before moving rooms and no buffet breakfast was very disappointing . we recommend alcudia old town 15 mins bus ride and boat trip from alcudia great too Palms bar does great tribute acts every night lovely shops great restaurant but you had to reserve a table every night as everywhere fully booked .

We have just enjoyed a great week away with 2 teenagers! We booked the 3 bed ground floor apartment which leads directly to the pool, it was fantastic - spacious and very clean, great self catering facilities, small but fun pool, amazing roof top terrace with breeze and stunning views, wonderfully helpful and cheerful staff. Perfectly located too, right by the beach and 2 fabulous restaurants (Swing and Suirells) plus nearby beach bars. We had breakfast delivered each day which we could never finish, and the Spar located 2 minutes away was great. Suited us perfectly! (The furniture is their take on distressed shabby-chic, rather than poorly maintained).

This apartment hotel is a great option for families. It’s far enough out of the main tourist areas to be quiet, but only a 10 minute walk along the beach away. It’s right on the sea front, and access to an immaculate beach is over a reasonably quiet road. The apartments are tired, but spotlessly clean and the kitchen-ette had all that we needed to make breakfast and lunch. Although we did not book breakfast, we could see that it was generous and offered a lot of choice. There are plenty of excellent supermarkets within a 10 minutes drive and a convenience store / bakery within 200 meters. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. This is our first stay and it appears that most people come back year after year and where a lovely bunch of people. I’m sure we’ll be back.

We booked a 1 bedroom sideview apartment - after a day we were then moved to a 1 bedroom seaview apartment with lovely balcony. We did pay a very small additional charge for this but it was so worth it. The apartment was so spacious - huge double bed and so much wardrobe space. Marble floors and kitchen with a fridge/freezer and hob. Large sofa (sofa bed), tv with BBC1 & 2 (very useful when we were rained in one afternoon/evening and I mean rained in! For us the location was everything. Right across the road is the best beach in Puerto Pollensa in our view with the best beach cafe/bar. I'm an early riser and to sit on the balcony watching the sun shoot up and bleed the sky red was wonderful. To sit having coffee and breakfast watching the sea as still as anything while the runners ran past and the cyclists cycled - fantastic However, it does have its issues. The hotel reception isn't manned. The restaurant is closed, breakfast is brought to your room if you book breakfast which we didn't. The staff who are there ie cleaners and (I assume) maintenance man, are charming and helpful. There is a wonderful sun terrace on the top floor which we used frequently which was great for sun-bathing and had a hot tub and sauna area - these facilities weren't available due to Covid 19 issues which I do understand. However the sun terrace itself felt very unloved and not looked after. We made ourselves at home there most afternoons as the beach was quite windy, this was sheltered and comfortable but it could be such a wonderful spot! The pool was cleaned regularly (it was v cold as was the sea sadly - I did brave it though!) but the sunloungers didn't have cushions on so bare wooden boards which looked too uncomfortable and nobody around to ask - that's the issue. If you can't catch a cleaner in the morning you either have to make a phone call or I emailed the hotel to ask questions - if your key card didn't work and it was 7 in the evening I don't know what you'd do - didn't happen to us it was all fine. I do think this is a case of Covid 19 excuses. They advertise the spa and sauna on their website but only when we'd booked and paid did we get notified these weren't operational. The management were very helpful to us - by email - and they very kindly let us have a very late check out. They also organised us being met by a taxi from the airport and return journey too which worked very smoothly indeed. It could have been perfect - it is such a wonderful location and building but we do feel they now need to ditch the covid issues and bring it back up to scratch. Would we go back there again? For sure, most definitely - as I said the location is wonderful and the views and position fantastic. I feel churlish making some of these points as they were helpful to us but it otherwise would have been a 5 out of 5. I find it very hard to rate the service, as there was none at the hotel apart from the cleaners who were lovely and efficient, the roo

The Galeon is a great hotel. It has a fantastic location opposite the beach and the sea views are sensational. The rooms are spacious with everything you need. The breakfast is delicious, but best of all the staff are friendly, lovely people. We will be staying again soon !

The location of Galeon Suites is metres from the beach, a beach bar and a wooden playground for children. It’s also next to a restaurant (Swing) which is very good. The apartments themselves are spacious and contain everything you need. If I was being a little picky I would say they could benefit from some modernisation, but they are still very good. The pool is fantastic and as numbers are currently lower due to COVID we had it to ourselves at certain times of the day. Finally, the staff at Galeon Suites are brilliant. They delivered a great breakfast to our rooms each morning and couldn’t be more helpful. I would happily return to Galeon Suites and would recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Puerto Pollensa.
