Residence Inn Fort Lauderdale Pompano Beach/Oceanfront

This property is the best kept secret of Pompano Beach. It was our second time coming for our daughter’s birthday. Both times we spent a week. It’s a slice of heaven. Staff: you will not find a single person who doesn’t smile and greet you. Everyone goes above and beyond. The front desk staff are wonderful and helpful. The pool and beach staff are super friendly and fun. Property: this is not a luxury hotel. If that’s what you’re after, find somewhere else. If you’re looking for huge, clean rooms with beautiful views, full kitchen and washer/dryer - this is your home. The rooms are incredibly spacious and CLEAN. Having a kitchen is very handy (especially with kids). This time we encountered a few minor issues (sink not fully draining quickly, dishwasher soap dispenser broken) but none of these issues were enough for us to even contact the front desk. The pool is heated and gorgeous. There is sometimes a shortage of loungers by the pool, but the staff do their best to take away towels of people trying to “save” chairs. There are always waiters coming around and the food and drinks available are delicious. The beach is 2 steps away and is spectacular. Having grown up vacationing in Hallandale, I didn’t expect to have such gorgeous turquoise water. When it’s calm, it feels like you’re on a Caribbean island. Even when the sea is rough, the water is clear. This is an extremely family friendly resort. Everyone is wonderful with kids. We won’t ever stay anywhere else!

Bridget in Breakfast, Frank & Antonio in Vallet excellent staff & front desk attendants were very welcoming and helpful. From the amenities to the rooms and all that comes with it makes for a easy going stress free vacation. Love the washer & dryer with full appliances. Each room has Beautiful Beach View with great balcony space. Our Go to hotel that no other location can compete with!

Definitely going to stay here again

The staff was friendly and helpful but the amenities needed some updating. Most disappointing things were paying for beach chairs on top of an already expensive stay, weak and expensive drinks, running out of chairs, food and drinks for guests!

Very expensive. No eatery in range. Food in redtaurant way over priced. The valet was beyond.. 34.00 per day Hotel price per night varied For 2 days 600.00 Horrible breakfast Frank and Antonio were the best of every thing. They both help me tremendous with My husband who is disable. The front desk catet primarly to the selected ones

Had the best time at this hotel from start to finish! From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Carlos (guest services supervisor) this amazing man went above and beyond for us, it was our 15th wedding anniversary and our first holiday in a very long time without our 5 children, he immediately upgraded us to the 2 bedroom suite with ocean views from both balconies (yes there were 2) the room/rooms were fantastic plenty of space 2 shower rooms fridge,sink cooking facilities if we chose to use them (we didn’t) beds were extremely clean and comfortable had the best nights sleep in years! I couldn’t fault anything about our room at all and although I agree with other reviews parts could do with an update it certainly never ruined our time and as I said above nothing was too much trouble for Carlos and indeed some of the other staff we had the pleasure of meeting! They gave us restaurant recommendations shopping recommendations anything we asked they knew the answer! Hotel reception/lifts smelt amazing only downside they didn’t sell the scent I would have brought it home!! Pool is a good size and spotlessly clean we watched it cleaned every morning pool floats etc available free for anyone to use excellent for the children, atmosphere is amazing, we had been staying in ft Lauderdale The Westin beach resort and spa for over 29 years before and after children but it became too corporate and not the family oriented place we once loved so this time we chose to look elsewhere and with this hotel and staff we found it in abundance this will now be our go to place so much so we are booking for next year with the whole family!! The beach is beautiful it’s quiet but there are water sports if you choose and lots of families enjoying the sunshine just as it should be! Our only little moan would be the drink prices and the food they are priced way too high and food for pool/bar should be different to the restaurant need more of a variety and we didn’t see a children’s menu (although we didn’t ask) lots of families with children that mentioned paying the same as an adult price for children but don’t let this put you off it certainly didn’t us the best atmosphere and most caring kind staff especially carlos(this man deserves a pay rise) We WILL be going back and cannot wait to book and take our children! Big big thank you to Carlos!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Marriott Residence Inn Pompano Beach. The location perfect and room was spacious and clean. Sunrises absolutely gorgeous as it was beachfront property. Staff went above and beyond. We visited during March Break with our 2 twin boys. The concierge always took care of requests and provided exceptional service. The pool staff always made the boys feel special and entertained with attention to their needs and funny stories! The onsite restaurant was amazing and we never needed to go far with the quick poolside service and menu was awesome. Delicious burgers and local seafood. Beds were super comfortable and housekeeping took care of all our needs. We can't wait to return!!

Very friendly staff, they did anything we needed. Fun bar/pool staff.. Safe environment. Would definitely come back again.
